Got a recommendation to try this place. I like places when there are not too many menu choices. Would have quite happily filled up on the bar snacks and the appetisers but had the burger, which was very good. Special mention for the Scotch Egg, lovely and spicy! This is understandably busy place but they call you when your table... More

My husband and came here twice during our stay in Vancouver: once for dinner and once for drinks in the afternoon. Dinner was a bit pricey, but excellent; we started with the bone marrow (something that appears to be on all Vancouver menus), which was deliciously fatty and salty. I had the rib steak, which was cooked perfectly and served... More

Good selection of local drink options. The kitchen is semi-open which is cool to watch. The atmosphere is very chill, a mix of locals and tourists.

Been here a few times over the years, but they've upped their game I think. Menu has a ton of great choices, and I was thrilled to see 2 vegetarian mains. Portions are huge and well worth the money. I recently had the cauliflower 'steak' and would absolutely go back and have it again. Reasonably priced wines by Vancouver standards... More

We had a great lunch here on a dreary rainy day. The service was good, not too intrusive, but on top of things. The food was solid pub food.

As a walk-in on a busy evening, we were able to squeeze in at the bar. Whilst I was a bit apprehensive of taking a meal there, the personable service from the barstaff, the general buzz of the restaurant and the food itself immediately relieved any concerns. The marrow and steak were excellent as were the wine recommendations. Recommended.

We came in for a drink on our first night in Vancouver and just kept coming back! This place is awesome! The cocktail list is eclectic - to say the least. You read the ingredients in these things and think, "there's no way that should work"...but somehow it does! Amazing! We had the Happy Hour food (beacon wrapped dates)...YUM! Just... More

We showed up and they didn't have record of our reservation. A bad start. To their credit (I guess) they made an effort to accommodate us in the chefs table (table literally in the galley). During dinner we were passed off to multiple servers, drinks took 10 mins. Worse, was the food. Since when did a rib eye cut come... More

My friends and I came here for a pre-race dinner because one of my friends was racing in a half marathon, and I'm so glad we did. We were told the wait would be 30 minutes long but it felt shorter. Shortly after sitting down at the bar and ordered drinks, our table was ready. The bartenders are really knowledgeable... More

The atmosphere here alone is enough to make me go back. It's styled like an intimate and old fashioned bar and they have live music on Sundays. The menu is small and its easy to rack up a high bill if you're ordering multiple items, especially since almost all cocktails are $12+. This is a place to get classic and... More
