Been here a few times over the years, but they've upped their game I think. Menu has a ton of great choices, and I was thrilled to see 2 vegetarian mains. Portions are huge and well worth the money. I recently had the cauliflower 'steak' and would absolutely go back and have it again. Reasonably priced wines by Vancouver standards... More

We had a great lunch here on a dreary rainy day. The service was good, not too intrusive, but on top of things. The food was solid pub food.

As a walk-in on a busy evening, we were able to squeeze in at the bar. Whilst I was a bit apprehensive of taking a meal there, the personable service from the barstaff, the general buzz of the restaurant and the food itself immediately relieved any concerns. The marrow and steak were excellent as were the wine recommendations. Recommended.

We came in for a drink on our first night in Vancouver and just kept coming back! This place is awesome! The cocktail list is eclectic - to say the least. You read the ingredients in these things and think, "there's no way that should work"...but somehow it does! Amazing! We had the Happy Hour food (beacon wrapped dates)...YUM! Just... More

We showed up and they didn't have record of our reservation. A bad start. To their credit (I guess) they made an effort to accommodate us in the chefs table (table literally in the galley). During dinner we were passed off to multiple servers, drinks took 10 mins. Worse, was the food. Since when did a rib eye cut come... More

My friends and I came here for a pre-race dinner because one of my friends was racing in a half marathon, and I'm so glad we did. We were told the wait would be 30 minutes long but it felt shorter. Shortly after sitting down at the bar and ordered drinks, our table was ready. The bartenders are really knowledgeable... More

The atmosphere here alone is enough to make me go back. It's styled like an intimate and old fashioned bar and they have live music on Sundays. The menu is small and its easy to rack up a high bill if you're ordering multiple items, especially since almost all cocktails are $12+. This is a place to get classic and... More

We stopped in at The Pourhouse on a rainy afternoon for a drink and a snack and loved it. They pour a delicious Negroni, have a great selection of local microbrews on tap and one of the most delicious Tuna Nicoise Salads we have ever tasted. The Spiced Nuts are good too. Great warm atmosphere, perfect for a rainy day.

My Mrs and I stumbled upon this place by accident on a Wednesday afternoon exploring trip around Vancouver and came back the next day for dinner with our local friends. Really friendly and knowledgeable staff, as others have stated they pride themselves on their cocktails and if you "describe" what you like they'll point something out on the menu or... More

We were recommended to come here by a server at another bar. They take great pride in their cocktails, I really enjoyed the whiskey Sour. Fries are excellent and the meat board was superb Great for dinner or just drinks and appies
