We have been to Campagnolo for 2-3 years. It was very good at the beginning. For the past two times, the quality had dropped. Last night, we went again. And the food and the service were truly disappointing. Let me start with the service. The restaurant opened at 5pm. We arrived 5:05. When we were asked whether we had a... More

This place is relatively unknown compared within the Campagnolo family in Vancouver. Located next to Campagnolo on Main St., the door on the right that leads upstairs is a hidden bar where good burgers are met with a unique selection of beer and a unique vibe not found in many bars in Vancouver. For burger lovers, come here and try... More

We found this place by accident. Walked in and it was a very hip and cool atmosphere! The service was overall not GOOD...slow slow slow...food came out in wrong order and one whole piece of the order missing. The food itself was good, very earthy and was perfect for the cold day. I have the gnoccci special , the taste... More

We arrived to friendly greetings and our table was waiting as we had a reservation. Our server was knowledgeable about the food and took the time to explain the dishes, their local sources and the preparation. All of the pasta was fresh. The mushrooms, tomatoes even the ham was fresh. Our party of eight chose the family menu and were... More

We were a party of eight from California, Minnesota, North Carolina and Wisconsin who have long traveled together. Bottom line simple surroundings but one of the best Italian meals most of us have had, including in Italy. We ate family style which, in my opinion is a great way to sample a broader array of what a chief can offer.... More

Party of Four on August 31, 2014 .. It was a Sunday in the middle of a long weekend but I was embarrassed for hosting a foursome on my recommendation...burnt pizza, wilted greens added to another: "is this basil?", small portions, mediocre service..drinks, appies, main $217.00 with tip...this restaurant has slipped badly..there are many better places close by!

An interesting location for a restaurant. Our invited friends have not been to this neighborhood for a long while and were pleasantly surprised. Food was good - however the portions were not big but enough. The decor is very plain and functional. Nothing to rave! Rating is for the delicious food.

This restaurant is a little off the beaten path in Vancouver but its well worth the effort. The menu is Italian and the venue is unpretentious and relaxing. They use lots of local ingredients (we got a detailed biography of the pork in the pasta dish we ate) and have real focus on quality. Service is very friendly and the... More

This is our go-to restaurant close to work. The staff are always welcoming and pleasant. While I am not a great fan of their pastas, their pizzas and great and the garbanzo bean appetizer is out of this world! It is a wonderfully delicious dish with lovely subtle flavors. We often share a dish of it and a pizza and... More

Still one of the more rewarding dining experiences in Vancouver, I've downgraded it (temporarily, I hope) to 4 stars because they seemed to have lost their edge tonight. (It's really 5 stars, but I'm sending them a message. ;-) The head bartender is on vacation and the replacement doesn't have the recipe for their great Cynar Negroni. Also the menu... More
