Delicious, carby, non-fancy pizza/pasta on Main Street

OK, it's a sketchy part of town, but it's also near the train station and a hostel. the space is hiply spare. the menu focusses on pasta and pizza, so no paleo. But it worked fine for my celiac glutton-free companion. Don't miss the crispy chickpea appetizer which is gluten free AND delicious, if... read more

I went to this restaurant as part of a group outing. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was good, but nothing special. Prices were a bit higher than I would have liked given the quality of the food.

Enjoyed a superb lunch with a friend at Campagnolo. I've been meaning to try this restaurant for quite a while and I'm so glad I did. I ordered the pizza with fennel sausage and when it was delivered I didn't think I'd finish it due to the generous size. But of course I did because it was scrumptious. Perfect crispy... More

Thanks to Matthew, aka Freddie, for a great dinning experience! The food was nicely prepared with our appetizer was a delight!

Handmade pasta is always outstanding. Consistent quality. For large groups they have a family-style menu based on two price points ($35 and $45 + tax I believe) and it is OUTSTANDING! They can adapt to all food preferences. Kids are welcomed also. Nice to see a restaurant that has little turnover in terms of the front of the house. They... More

Was here for a business lunch. Great service and I really enjoyed the Gnocchi Dish I had. It was light and flavourful and well portioned. Definitely will go back next time I'm in Vancouver.

Although both restaurants Campagnolo and Roma are owned by the same company, I prefer Roma hands down. The pastas are excellent, the pizzas better and the service is just as good. Campagnolo started very well, but it has fizzle as of late. Both are moderate pricing in moderate neighborhoods.

I always wanted to try Campagnolo on Main Street. I tried their Ancient Grains and Ricotta Gnudi and was not disappointed but at the same time I absolutely love the restaurant Nook on Denman for service, warmth, price, flavour and menu choices. The flavours at Campagnolo were good, just richer than Nook and smaller portions than Nook. Our server could... More

Fresh ingredients, great atmosphere, good basic Italian food and centrally located. Smallish restaurant but cozy with friends. Try the marinated olives before and Lobster Risotto for dinner.

We have long been fans of chef, Robert Belcham and his two restaurants Campagnolo and Campagnolo Roma. So, it was an easy choice to make on where to meet friends for a casual dinner a few nights ago. Once two of us heard that the special was fresh tagliatelle with fresh Italian truffles shaved on top we were sold! My... More
