The fish was delicious and portion size was huge. I was going to order 2 pieces and the waitress told me about the sizes, so I downsized to one. The location was an easy walk from St. Paul's Hospital where I was visiting. It was perfect to have so many great eating places nearby. This is a bar/restaurant so adult... More

Came downtown after my flight home and decided to drop in. Had a great time chatting with the bartender and serving staff, the drinks and food were good. Got a pizza and beer, pizza was great and served faster than I expected. There were so many TVs, between the hockey and basketball playoffs I had more than I could watch!... More

Worst service, server was borderline scary, that's how rude she was. Food took over 45 minutes to come and it was dead in there (we ordered nachos). NEVER go there.

Having just checked into our hotel after a ten hour flight, we headed downtown to grab a bite and accidentally caught a local ice hockey game. The atmosphere in here with it's HD projector was a real wake up call and ideal to help us get onto local time. Took a while to get served, but Beth more than made... More

They served me my Eggs Benedict on a piece of white toast!! That about says it all! This was my first and will be my last time at this restaurant. My friend and I were hungry and we noticed their 'sandwich board' out front promoting their breakfast, so thought we would give it a try. I ordered eggs benedict and... More

My friend and me headed here for a drink because someone recommended it. The service was really nice and funny. The location on granville is just great and I like how the designed the inside of the bar. As we were sitting there and seeing all the delicious looking food passing by, we ordered some appetizers. The best food I... More

Just picked this spot for no reason other than we were walking by and were a little hungry. Upon entry the place seemed a bit of a hangout but we were quickly greeted and seated by the waitress who was also filling in as the hostess. We ordered the fish and chips special and the sliders which were great .... More

Visited the speakeasy in september 2012 and also january 2013. The first time we had an awesome breakfast, huge selection, large portions, pretty cheap for the amount of food we got. Probably one of the best eggs benadict i've had. Unfortunately we headed back there to have breakfast again when we we're in vancouver recently and really wished we hadn't,... More

My sister and I paid an over $200 bill one evening prior to going to a show at the commodore ballroom. We were literally CHASED down the street after we were in line at the commodore as the staff thought we had not settled our bill and FORCED us to walk back to the resaraunt with them to settle EVEN... Nothing spectacular, but good enough. Another of many sports bars with decent pub fare, but the ample TVs are a plus. It's interesting in reading the reviews how subjective and varied are the individual experiences with this bar, especially the service. As I mentioned, I found the place to be decent enough and at least when I was there, the... More
