This is a great place to hang out to people watch on Granville Street, or enjoy a range of well cooked Japanese delicacies. Wash done with decent beer and/ or sake.

Definitely one of the best sushi spots, and a go to place when I am visiting Vancouver, and some of the best sashimi I've had. The energy on Granville street is always fun, and the food and service at this authentic Japanese establishment are excellent.

Although the food was very good. The service left a lot to be desired. Main course was brought first and then appetizer and for $2.80 for a smaller sized soft drink you'd think a refill would be offered.

Came upon this restaurant randomly while strolling the streets of Vancouver and boy, am I glad we found it! The food was amazing, atmosphere authentic yet contemporary and prices extremely reasonable. We will be sure to visit again when coming to Vancouver!

Great little sushi spot with a good choice on the lunchtime specials menu. They do take out as well and the service was very prompt. Definitely worth a visit.

We took our concierge's recommendation to try Shuraku and were not disappointed. Located on Granville Street past the Old Navy, it was quite busy for dinner on a Saturday night -- to be expected, right? We sat at the bar and our bartender was excellent. He made a fantastic recommendation on a sake. Try the lotus root app. Delicious! Sushi... More

The sushi and sashimi they serve is some of the best I've ever had, but the service wasn't there. After being seated a server didn't come see us for about 10 minutes, hastily took our order (after telling us 2 of our 4 items were sold out, something that would have been nice to know before looking over the menu).... This is my favourite Vancouver sushi restaurant. I was a regular at the restaurant until I moved out of province. Service has always been great despite 100% staff turnover and the food is always excellent. Favourite dishes include the Enchanted Forest Rolls and the Tuna 3 Ways. I would eat here every week if I could. My husband and I... More

Felt just like we were back in Japan. The food was fresh, tasty and there was a huge amount to choose from for a veggie. Best veggie sushi I've ever had and a great sake menu if that's your thing. Brilliant specials menu too.
