Perfect location in downtown Vancouver. I recommend in particular their menu combining BBQ ribs, spring rolls and raw fish, brilliant!

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner! The sushi was fabulous and the spider rolls are to die for! Try the jalapeño poppers if you can! They are awesome!

We came to this place after reading some of the reviews, and I must admit that we came across some of the best rolls ever eaten. Exciting combinations and original presentations. Service was friendly, and suggestions are given about the amounts and the combinations. All in all, a very very nice sushi experience.

We happened upon this restaurant last year and made a point to return again when we returned to Vancouver. Great local salmon and tuna sashimi plate, family friendly, great staff, nice sake selection and reasonably priced! Absolute favorite place to come in Vancouver.

This review comes after my 6th visit to this fine Japanese restaurant. The Tuna Tartare was excellent as was the Volcano Sushi Roll. The taste and presentation suggests a high end restaurant yet the prices are affordable. The restaurant charges for the tea but the pot is refilled. All-in-all, this isa high recommendation. Excellent Japanese food!

I checked this place out after work. High quality Japanese food beautifully presented. The assorted sashimi was fresh and well presented. The octopus umae was delicious,as was the ankimo(monk fish liver). A must try is the drink god of thunder. The only disappointment was that several items on the menu are no longer available. Great sake selection. This place is... More

Famished and tired, me and my mum found this place after a quick Trip Advisor search on our phones. So glad we did. We sat outside, right on Granville Street, watching the people go by! The service was excellent and well presented. We had the Farmer "Energy" Bowl which was delicious - highly recommended. We also had some Veggie Rolls,... More

Came without a reservation on Saturday night and they were very accommodating. The service was friendly and efficient throughout being especially welcoming to our children. Highlight: the barbecued ribs were outstanding. Good: popcorn shrimp, tempura, chicken teriyaki, avocado/cucumber roll. Lowlight: Rainbow roll. It just didn't taste all that fresh. But overall a very positive and pleasant dining experience.

We actually ate here twice, because the food here was incredible. The appetizers were a good amount for the money. We had the ebi gyoza which was an unusual presentation - a whole shrimp wrapped in pork and chicken in a dumpling skin. Perfectly cooked. The sushi was very good as well, we ordered nigiri style and also rolls. The... More

Visiting Vancouver (or any big city for that matter) is akin to me taking the Hajj. And for the 96.8% of you in Canada whom are not Muslim, I'll have to explain myself. The Hajj is the pilgrimage to Mecca done every year by millions as a duty to their faith. And like that righteous journey, I feel compelled to... More
