Description: We specialize in Aburi, or flamed-seared sushi, which was developed nearly a century ago in Japan. The act of applying fire directly and lightly sear is known to enhance the natural flavors of the fish. Miku owner, Seigo Nakamura, innovated the Aburi concept by creating speciality sauces, using non-traditional Japanese ingredients, to complement the unique taste properties of each fish. Miku Restaurant is within walking distance from the Pan Pacific Hotel, Canada Place, Trade & Exhibition Centre, IMAX Theatre, Cruise Ship Terminals and Sea Bus. If shopping downtown, join us for lunch and re-energize. It's entrance is at the corner of Howe Street and Canada Place Way, overlooking the east cruiseship terminal at Canada Place. **Please note: We do not take reservations for the patio as it is a first come, first serve basis. We also only will hold reservations for an additional 15 minutes.

Beautiful view overlooking the waterfront. The decor itself is nice as well with a patio-type outdoor seating. While I was there, they opened up all the panels so no matter where you were in the restaurant, it was kind of like you were outside with a gentle breeze coming off the water blowing in your hair. It's not an every... More

I submitted a review of Miku a while back of their old location, but they have since moved to a new location with a terrace and big windows looking over the water and mountains. However, Miku still continues to be the best sushi restaurant I have ever eaten in. I also recommended it to about 4 or 5 others while... More

Lovely restaurant, would recommend the Premium Aburi and Aburi Lobster Tail. Ask for a window table when you book for a view over the waterfront.

Excellent and fresh sushi experience. Although it's a bit pricey, the sushi is unique and creative. Reservations are a must. We had the Aburi Salmon Sashimi, Sockeye Sashimi, Salmon Maki, Miku roll and Red Wave roll. All of it was delicious. Faaria, our server, was excellent and made sure my wife's egg allergy was addressed by the kitchen. Wonderful experience... More

Reservations using Opentable worked well. Requested a window seat at lunch and we were accommodated. Very busy restaurant, but nicely set up, outdoor seating with heaters, great view of the harbour. Service was very good, seats and tables comfortable. Menu was well explained and their speciality items worth a taste. Prices very reasonable. If you enjoy Japanese food done with... More

We were staying at Fairmont Waterfront and Miku is just across the street from us. Fresh sushi and very relaxing atmosphere. Recommend to try the sake combo.

Wanted to try "fresh, authentic" sushi and heard that this was the place to go. We enjoyed the lively atmosphere, the waterfront view, the excellent service, and the wonderful food. I felt it was appropriately priced and would be comfortable recommending to anyone.

Super swanky. Sophisticated. Stays true to the integrity of traditional Japanese food but injected with a modern twist. This place is awesome. I recommend getting a seat at the sushi bar so you can watch all the chefs make sushi. They love to use blow torches here and its interesting to watch. I would say be prepared to spend around... We ate here after reading the reviews and couldn't have been happier. From the moment we walked in we were treated like special guests, yet still in a relaxed & comfortable way. From the friendly waitress who assisted us through the menu with great knowledge & passion, to the chefs who chatted to us as we watched closely over the... More
