Description: We specialize in Aburi, or flamed-seared sushi, which was developed nearly a century ago in Japan. The act of applying fire directly and lightly sear is known to enhance the natural flavors of the fish. Miku owner, Seigo Nakamura, innovated the Aburi concept by creating speciality sauces, using non-traditional Japanese ingredients, to complement the unique taste properties of each fish. Miku Restaurant is within walking distance from the Pan Pacific Hotel, Canada Place, Trade & Exhibition Centre, IMAX Theatre, Cruise Ship Terminals and Sea Bus. If shopping downtown, join us for lunch and re-energize. It's entrance is at the corner of Howe Street and Canada Place Way, overlooking the east cruiseship terminal at Canada Place. **Please note: We do not take reservations for the patio as it is a first come, first serve basis. We also only will hold reservations for an additional 15 minutes.

This is one of the best meals we have ever had. Dinner was so good we went back for lunch today. Order the chef's special where they give you a mixture. It is divine. The fish is so fresh it literally melts in your mouth.

My husband and I were visiting Vancouver from New York, and wanted to try a good sushi restaurant. Miku did not disappoint. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious, and the ambiance was great. We loved experimenting with their house specials, and felt Miku ranked up there with our favorite sushi... More

I went to this restaurant according to the recommendation of tripadvisor, which did not disappoint me. The restaurant was located near the cruise terminal with great seaview. It was within a 15 minutes walk from my hotel which was located in Robson Street. I tried the Salmon Oshi Sushi, Ebi Oshi Sushi and Coal Harbour Roll, all were delicious. Overall,... More

Our family of four just dined at Miku. This was definitely the best sushi we ever had - and probably never will have. Its very hard to think of how this experience can be topped. Thank you.

We loved the house specials. Walked from the Fairmont over. We did not have reservations but was able to sit at the sushi bar. Wait staff was attentive.

We had the extensive tasting menu which, while not cheap at $80 per head, was not only utterly delicious, but also really filling. The seared salmon sushi with 'secret sauce' and the appetizer portions were amazing. While the location is not hugely inspirational, the view across the water was...my only slight gripe was that the acoustics are appalling, making conversation... More

Miku is situated on the waterfront in Vancouver. The service is great and the food is delicious. It is quite pricey though. If you had to try a couple of things on the menu I would suggest the three different types of aburi oshi sushi. I've had pressed sushi elsewhere but this is something different and definitely worth the try.... More

Miku is owned by the same guys that own Minami so I already knew the food wouldn't disappoint me. Location: I'm on the fence; they're located on the waterfront (on Granville) but the building itself looks more like an office building than a restaurant, and if I didn't know they were in there, I would never even think to look.... This restaurant delivered in every way! The food, the sevice, the atmosphere: wow. We were given a table by the window, lovely view. Our waitress was all smiles, she gave good advice about the amount of food we wanted to order and finally she came back to us telling us she only ordered half a miku roll because she feared... More
