Description: We specialize in Aburi, or flamed-seared sushi, which was developed nearly a century ago in Japan. The act of applying fire directly and lightly sear is known to enhance the natural flavors of the fish. Miku owner, Seigo Nakamura, innovated the Aburi concept by creating speciality sauces, using non-traditional Japanese ingredients, to complement the unique taste properties of each fish. Miku Restaurant is within walking distance from the Pan Pacific Hotel, Canada Place, Trade & Exhibition Centre, IMAX Theatre, Cruise Ship Terminals and Sea Bus. If shopping downtown, join us for lunch and re-energize. It's entrance is at the corner of Howe Street and Canada Place Way, overlooking the east cruiseship terminal at Canada Place. **Please note: We do not take reservations for the patio as it is a first come, first serve basis. We also only will hold reservations for an additional 15 minutes.

A must go to. we took our nephiew here for his Christmas Gift and his first experiance in fine dining and what an amazing experiance it was. Service was on top and the food was delish. The only reason why i gave it a 4/5 for food is because i had the prime rib and it was okay. But my... More

Trendy but not hoity-toity. Relaxing atmosphere. great service. Known for Aburi style sushi. We ordered all three - the Salmon, Ebi and Saba. All of them were full of flavour but the Ebi was my favourite. We also tried many of the other dishes and they were all good. Don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu.... More

I was visiting Vancouver for a short trip in November. On 11/24 it was pouring, and the ladies up at the front took my wet umbrella, my scarf, and seated me at a table near the window. It was my first solo trip, and one of the hostesses made conversation with me which was a nice touch, since normally hosts... More

This place is phenomenal. I can't remember the rolls I had but I've had sushi everywhere and this may be the best. It's not cheap, but it's worth it. If you're in Vancouver looking for the spot then look no further.

The service was average and the food tasted wonderful. The only down side from my perspective was the portions. I ate the remaining food off of my wife's plate and killed a costco sausage roll when I got home. I wouldn't consider myself a big eater and I would not recommend eating here after the gym. If you are going... More

wow. Wow. Wow. Where do I start? First, I never thought I would get my husband to crave sushi, now he does. It's that combo of seared fish with the perfect topping/sauce. Our fav is the salmon. We ordered it four times in two days. We might have a problem. We're addicted to that melt-in-your-mouth aburi sushi. We also tried... More

Loved the seared tuna sushi - very interesting flavor. The view is great if you can get it, the service was as expected for a restaurant at this level, the wine and food selection was abundant yet appropriate.

I ate here 3 times while in Vancouver for 4 days. After I ate here initially (alone for lunch) my colleagues all wanted to try it! Luckily, they were paying for subsequent visits since the prices were really steep. It has an amazing atmosphere and view of the harbor. I would not recommend it for kids though, it is too... More

I've never had aburi (flame-seared) sushi before, but I'm glad I tried it. For sushi traditionalists, this place may not be for you. They do have traditional nigiri and sashimi, but they are known for their aburi. However, if you are a foodie and sushi enthusiast, Miku is a must go. The farm tofu salad was a good start with...
