Wonderful sushi beside the waterfront

Miku is located at the edge of the Vancouver waterfront with the Canaa Place to one side. The view is lovely, the food was great. Go with friends so that you can order a variety of the innovative plates. There is a nice selection of BC wines to choose from.

I've spent 25 years dining in Japan and in Japanese restaurants around the world, and I found this dining experience, at best, average. If I had to describe it in general terms, I would say it is an upmarket sushi train. As far as fine quality sushi, I would give it a 6 out of 10 at best. to suggest... More

Place came recommended by friends. Decor is wonder, sat outside with great view. Food was outstanding. Service top notch. The Red Wave roll is a winner but everything was great. Highly recommended.

Several people highly recommended Miku to us so we tried if for a late Sunday lunch. The server, who was excellent, advised us to try a wonderful item which included all types of Sushi, and other specialties. It was delicious.

I've gone to Miku several times and for the most part, it doesn't disappoint. The only downside I could see are the portions, especially during DineOut but regardless, the sushi here is fantastic. It is such a unique sushi tasting experience that I can recommend this to all visitors who enjoy sushi, seafood or just want to try something new.... More

Probably the best sushi I ever had or will have, and what an amazing experience! We had a table by the window overlooking Canada place; the waiter was amazing and stepped us through all the possibilities; the food was so succulent it melted in your mouth (and I'm not even a big sushi fan), and the presentation was gorgeous. Truly the best sushi we've ever had. Ebi fritter was out of sight as an appetizer. Salmon roll and sunshine rolls were terrific. Attentive service, great views. Busy place but never felt rushed. Highly recommend!

Great service and really unique tasty sushi, the blow torch sushi was new for us and fun to watch them create it. Service was outstanding and very friendly for our 2 girls (ages 4 and 6). Willing to make half portions and mix dishes so we could try different plates. Expensive but a good experience.

Miku offers a large & diverse menu, with really interesting combinations of flavors. You have have "simple," if you like, but they also have some really challenging dishes, as well. The place is large & was packed on the Sunday afternoon we dined. The only issue we faced was the fairly loud music, played on top of already spirited table... More

It's that good. Miku was recommended by several people when asked for sushi recommendations in Vancouver and they were spot on. We had to wait for 3 days to get a reservation but it was well worth it. This is without a doubt the best sushi I have eaten to date. I haven't yet made it to Japan, so maybe... More
