Went there on May 7 for brunch/lunch. We decided to avoid the lunch crowd as we heard that it's always full; so we went at 1 o'clock. There was a line waiting already but we only had to wait about 5 minutes as people were returning back to work. The place was still full when we left at 2:30. They're... More

Medina's lived up to its reputation as a terrific place for brunch. The food was delicious, the atmosphere is lively, the staff was welcoming, friendly and efficient.

Food is incredible, so's the coffee. You'll wait up to an hour to get in and yes, people line up that long. Make sure you go inside an put your name down first, don't just join the line...best waffles on the planet.

After eating at Medina Café you will understand why the restaurant was voted both the best brunch and best breakfast in Vancouver by the readers of The Georgia Straight. Their cocktails are top notch. Their Mediterranean spin on Bloody Mary is both creative and classic. The harissa salt on the drink was a yummy touch. What I loved about the... More

I had the chance to brunch at Medina on a trip to Vancouver with 2 of my friends. Well, I have to say that the waffles there are AMAZING! They are crunchy and soft. We had one waffle each with 3 differents toppings (fig orange marmalade, mixed berry compote, peach & bourbon butterscotch) and my favorite was fig orange marmalade.... More

Went here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. LONG wait but such great reviews what's an hour? Well an hour is too darn long to wait for the breakfast we all got. Lavender latte is very good and I get the hype for that but that is it. Food was just ok. Not much to it and it took over... More

It was a half hour wait for a table, but was well worth it in the end. The service was good, and the food was very tasty. A unique Turkish/Morrocan twist on breakfast and brunch. Great coffee too. Quicker seating at the bar if you're in a hurry.

I do love this place. It is fun to get a waffle and a cap. And their menu items are delicious as well. I have a habit of buying what I want when I want it, so I cannot really comment on the cost, but if it was not a great little place, you would not see me in there... More

The line yesterday was too long but today we waited less than the promised half hour by taking seats offered at the bar. Service was friendly and quick. Their modified mimosa was delicious and the coffee was good. We both had fricasse but mine was the mushroom version. Hubby said the short ribs version was tender and plentiful. Mine was... More
