It's worth lining up.. A exceptional varied menu but those coffees.. Would keep me back everyday if I was a local. Staff happy & motivated to do a great job. A pleasure to dine here. We will be back!

Initially went to Cafe Medina at their old location. Really cute place with no line up. Loved the waffles I had. I recently went back and visited them at the new place. Had paella and a lavender mocha...really yummy! But it sucked that my friend and I had to wait in line...on a TUESDAY.

This restaurant would be worth crossing the city for but we discovered it when we noticed the lines outside the door next to our hotel (L'Hermitage). Curious, we checked the menu and got a terrific surprise, local produce and unique Moroccan inspired food and drinks were featured. Every dish we saw looked tempting and our special with baked eggs was... More

The restaurant does not take reservations and lines form pretty early, so arrive before you want to actually eat. We were in Seattle and Vancouver for 10 days, eating breakfast at the most highly rated restaurants for breakfast, but Cafe Medina was definitely the best. It is amazing how the waffles are so much better than anywhere else. And the... More

We went there for breakfast, half an hour before they started serving actual breakfast: they open at eight, but only serve drinks and waffles before nine when the kitchen opens. I suspect it allows them to earn a bit more as hungry customers queue up and order while they wait for the kitchen to open. Apart from this, the good... More

It's always crowded but it's totally worth the wait time, Staffs are polite and friendly. We liked the old Medina more as it was really nice, cozy and classic, but now it's more like a fancy brunch spot. Waffles are great, we really liked the white chocolate, rose water pistachio. Lavender latte tastes great, and as for breakfast whatever you... More

My wife and beat the rush this morning and enjoyed a great breakfast. I had the egg of the day which was a delicious fritata and my wife loved her dish with lamb meatballs. Coffee is amazing, service friendly and fast hot food. We didn't mind the little wait we had because the hustle and bustle atmosphere makes for great... More

was my bf's idea to try this place before heading back to calgary. Upon arrival there was a lined up and so we ended up waiting 30-45 minutes. The staff was accommodating and polite. The waffles was really good, not like those waffle i had tried before. It taste really fresh and good. The raspberry latte was also really good,and... More

If you are there early in the morning you have no waiting time. We were there at 8am but they do bout have breakfast until 9am. Thus we ordered coffee and waffles. The waffles were pretty good and the coffee was delicious. The only thing is the waiting time to get our order. It takes longer than usual but it... More
