OMG.... The Waffles

We were in Vancouver for 3 days and went here every day. 1st day for waffles,( as recommended by someone we met in Seattle), and they were the best waffles I've ever had. Absolutely mouth watering. 2nd day for brunch, delicious. 3rd day for breakfast and again delicious, i wanted to savour every... read more

I went for brunch with another couple on a Sunday, everything was delicious, the staff is very friendly and the menu is unique. Lots of egg dishes and meats but you can also have vegetaria dishes. I highly recommend it. You must go ahead to put your name on the list. Usually about an hour wait.

"Life is too short for bad coffee" I visited on my last day in Vancouver, several hours before my flight back to the States. I came here based on a recommendation from my boss, and wow, he was right! Being as how I was traveling solo, I didn't have to wait long for a table ~ 10 min max :)... More

Had an amazing lunch here today. Very hip, very busy. Great service. I had the fricassee champignons which was excellent, as were all the other dishes my group ordered. We also had their waffles which were amazing. The raspberry caramel dipping sauce was the best of several we tried. Highly recommended.

My companion and I arrived at 9:15am on a Sunday morning. The restaurant was already nearl y full, although it had only opened 15 minutes before. The decor is eclectic. A large room with a high minimalist ceiling of bare piping; blueish green flock walls and traditional windows. The crowd is also eclectic with mothers and young sons; couple of... More

Got dragged here today with a pretty severe hangover and wow did this place hit the spot! It's very busy and there was a bit of a wait which in my fragile state I really didn't need. But once seated the food arrived swiftly and it did the trick. I had the Harrisa meat flat bread type thing with poached... More

We had been to the old location before and like this new Medina space much better. It's larger with very high ceilings and a small waiting space in the back which is good considering there is usually a wait. The room is noisy but in an alive kind of way. I enjoyed my short rib and eggs skillet breakfast. Everything... More

This was a great experience. The wait staff is terrific and offered great service. The lavender latte was amazing! Our food was delicious and the waffles were a treat. I loved the interior and overall we really enjoyed our meal. Make sure to go early and put your name on the list, then walk around Vancouver. The wait will be... More

My boyfriend and I often do weekend trips to Vancouver and this is the only place we've been to twice. The salted caramel lattes are literally to die for! each time we go we have to be careful not to Oder too much food cause we enjoy it all so much.

A lovely cafe in downtown Vancouver. Great coffee, and good fusion of the best from each of these cultures. For example, menu items include Tagine: two poached eggs, merguez sausage, seasonal vegetable stew, chickpeas, black olives and preserved lemons on grilled focaccia. Or Les Boulettes: 2 poached eggs, spicy moroccan lamb meatballs in a roasted red pepper and tomato stew,... More
