I came here with my boyfriend a while back for brunch because it was so highly raved about. We went around 12pm and as expected, there was a line. No biggie - we put down our name and walked around... we came back an hour later and the line was STILL long and our names were still very far down... More

Arrived at 11am on weekday. Front room was already full so were ushered to the back where there was still space. Clientele mostly media types sporting asymmetric haircuts and facial hair so we stuck out a bit as a family; but were made to feel welcome nonetheless. Great selection of egg based breakfasts covering different mediterranean countries. Went for the... More

We got there about an hour after it opened and we had to wait for about 30mins. Once we were inside, it was great. The tables are jammed pack together - I felt like I was in London. I wouldn't have minded the closeness if the lady next to me wasn't coughing every 3 minutes! The food was fantastic -... More

Although to had to wait about 30min.; it was worth it, but I wouldn't want to to this too often in the cold weather. The front part reminds me of a French Cafe. Tables of 2 are so close together, when I want to and when appropriate, I actually chat up with my neighbouring diners. Yesterday I had a fabulous... More

After what seemed like a millennia since getting together with my girlfriends, we all met one Sunday morning at Cafe Medina for a good brunch and a much needed catching up session. I was a little wary when I left our secret location. I have heard about Cafe Medina's long lines. Normally when tackling a restaurant that has epic waits... More

Worth the 45min wait for weekend breakfast. I had a difficult time choosing between the different breakfast options- all of which seemed a little unusual. Settled on the spicy lamb meatballs in tomato sauce with poached eggs. The flavors were amazing and I certainly didn't need to eat lunch after that breakfast. My husband had the beef shortribs griddle with... More

Came to Medina for brunch. The food here was really good. I had a skillet and enjoyed every bit of it. The thick cut bacon was my favorite. Actually thats not true, I enjoyed the entire meal A LOT.

Waited 45 mins for a table for Saturday brunch, after being told 25 mins. Walked across the street to Fatburger, got food in two mins. I have eaten here once before, first time in Vancouver 2 years ago, and I can't for the life of me figure out how or why it got this popular. I remember it was tiny,... More

Did not check if they take reservations, but they do open around 9ish...either way, unless you are there when the doors open, you are bound to wait, we got there at 10am, waited for 20 mins, they will not sit you until your whole party is there, even if you say you will order and pay for their meal...not very...
