I am somewhat addicted to Salam Bombay that whenever I am Vancouver bound, I wont go for any Indian restaurant other than Salam Bombay. The taste of the food I had here during my past two visits hesitates to leave my taste buds. So the name Salam Bombay itself is mouth watery. This time I gave try for Halibut Coconut... More

I had the pleasure of going to this upper-level eatery that offers classic Indian dishes, and an extensive big wine list after attending a business conference and was very impressed. We made reservations at 6:30pm but got there an hour earlier and they were very accommodating and anxious to please. There was so much on the menu (and I wanted... More

I love this restaurant. I'm glad I found out about the buffet during lunch hour to taste a bit of everything. Very good food.

We went to this Indian restaurant based on Trip Advisor reviews but sadly the experience was not as expected. The main restaurant area lacked any Indian atmosphere and the staff seemed less than engaging and unwilling to help with food choices ending up in over ordering. The food was average but over priced and some items were not as we... More

We really enjoyed our visit to Salam Bombay. We were there early on a weekday and were able to get one of the tables by the window overlooking Burrard Street, which made our experience even better by the people watching we could do while we waited for our food. The dishes were all delicious. Some might think the servings were... More

Salam Bombay, a lovely restaurant in the heart of downtown Vancouver. My husband and I went on Valentine's Day, it was busy, but no waiting lines. We were seated, given menus and then came the waiter. Our wait per course was no more than 15 minutes, just enough time to digest the scrumptous dishes. The menu had the right amount... More
