Trattoria Italian Kitchen is a vibrant, restaurant, where contemporary design unites with casual Italian dining and a focus on sharing. Service is relaxed, knowledgeable and welcoming. The menu consists of traditional trattoria style cuisine - hand made pizzas, bruschetta, antipasto, pasta and meat platters, fresh fish and familiar Italian staple items like Forno Roasted Chicken and Veal Scaloppini with an aim to keep our menu items at $20 or less. A carefully chosen selection of 50 wines make up a list representing the major regions in Italy including Tuscany, Piedmont, Veneto and Sicily. Add in a few boutique California, and British Columbia wineries and you have the perfect combination of a simple, yet comprehensive wine selection.

For your eyes - and your mouth...

The servers and barmen are so gorgeous - and they know it! Casual and good italian food, specialises in pasta and pizzas. Wednesday nights all their wine bottles are half price.

Came here on a Thursday around 7pm and seated right away. A little loud in general so had to speak up but not conversation stopping loud. The truffle spaghetti and meatballs was recommended by friends, and it was about $2-4 more than the rest of the pasta dishes. Thought the regular pasta was a little on the pricey side but... More

Family of six for a mid week dinner was very enjoyable until the bill came. There were 5 adults plus a 3 year old. \ordered the child pizza at $6 but the bill was $8.00. Extra mushrooms on the pizza were $3;00 and two strawberries were $4.00 which is a big a big rip. We all spent a good deal... More

This was a last minute decision, we instantly liked that they had lots of families eating and it was as a result a very relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere. The menu has classic dishes and there are also some creative choices. Wine menu was basic but had a little of something for everyone. Good wait staff that were unassuming and helpful.

I work downtown in a firm of over 200 people and we use the Glowbal Collection of restaurants (Italian Kitchen, Coast, Black + Blue) frequently for business lunches and corporate events. Normally, the service at their restaurants is terrific. However, I recently went to Trattoria and was disappointed with the service. After the appetizers, it took more than 30 minutes... More

If you love really thin crust pizza, you will like this place. We ordered the funghi and the prosciutto pizzas and were not disappointed. There was a lot of flavor in both. Our other diner opted for truffle oil spaghetti and meatballs which he said was delicious. Service was prompt; they gave us the table we requested. Food was hot... More

We were there for dinner because I visited from another country,my friend wanted to show me something exciting and different. This restaurant offered Tuesday all pasta for $11 , and so he wanted to show off the Vancouver specialty restaurant to me. What can I say? It was very noisy, so noisy that we couldn't even talk without yelling. We... More

Decided to spend our last evening in Van at this popular restaurant and enjoyed some fantastic food. To top this was the fact that every Wednesday, the wine list is half price! So we started with a wonderful bottle of Prosecco whilst waiting for a table close to the outdoor eating area (the rear of the restaurant was extremely warm).... More

We recently visited a sister restaurant (Italian Kitchen) with good results so we decided to also experience dinner at the Trattoria. Both our appetizer and entrees were selected from their Daily Special Menu. The chicken & pesto 10" pizza was delicious. We both opted for and enjoyed the linguine and clams (ample clams). Overall it was a delightful repast. The... More
