Great Falafel

Friday afternoon around 1pm and Robson Street was packed. Was after a food truck but the line-ups were crazy. Popped over to Nelson to Babylon and ordered a Falafel with everything. No line up Crazy good wrap for $6.50. The Falafel is made in house and everything was fresh.

These are addicting.....hers is the chicken with no spice....mine the lamb with extra spice. Sit outside and drip over the sidewalk....massive portion of fresh ingredients and savory delight. With a can of pop....2 can dine for under $20. Be prepared to have to walk it off.

Having lunch as we explore the English Bay and the A-Maze-ing Laughter statues. The wraps were good and the staff were very friendly. We would be regulars if we lived close.

Stopped here and lined up to get a beef Shawarma. Even though it was no too busy I had to wait a couple of minutes, but it was well worth the wait. The Shawarma was freshly prepared and was super stuffed with beef, salad, and a lot of vegetables. The staff was also very friendly and I'm definitively coming back.

lined up out the door today at noon but well worth the wait. Fresh Falafala made on site. We had bot ha Chicken and a Lamb Shawarma and both were excellent. Dont bother with lettuce, each came with the parslay, tomato, picked beets and a dill pickle. Great taste, maybe the best 1 in the city, if not definitly the... More

Stopped in for late nite takeout while walking back to the hotel. Very tasty chicken plate. Lots of sides. Could use real garlic sauce instead of tzatziki. Very decent portions and very filling.

Nothing fancy about this place. But what you get is a super stuffed wrap full of chicken and a variety of other fillings. Tasty wrap which oozes with flavour and juice. Always visit when in town.

Shwarma is what they do. The chicken is fabulous. The wraps are well stuffed . 3 small tables outside to watch the world go by or take your bounty down to English Bay. Excellent value.

Babylon Cafe on Denman are sexist, possibly racist, and overcharging scammers and I will never eat there again. They skipped over me in line to take the order of the guy behind me. When I told the guy working there that I hadn't ordered, he insisted I was with the guy in front of me, who I wasn't. When I... More

We were staying in a hotel around the corner and had been walking by Babylon for 2 days and commenting on how delicious it smelled. The opportunity to visit finally came late on a Tuesday night - they were out of lamb, so we both ordered chicken. The service, quality and value were remarkable. We ate our Chicken Schwarma Plates... More
