Splendid wines, great service

Very good wines, professional staff with knowledge. Quite expensives wines as well, but something for everyone. They serve good lunch as well

This might be a Wine Bar, but I stop by for Lauren Mote's creations; her cocktails are art for the palate. I simply can't say enough about the extensive cocktail list and the appetizer pairings. When in town, I make a point of stopping by.

Such a great wine selection, and really interesting menu options/set up! Excellent service, and a really friendly atmosphere. Wonderful place to either enjoy a solo drink/bite to eat or in a group. I highly recommend it!

We came here around 11pm because we were looking for a quiet place to drink and chat with friends. This place has a good list of cocktails and the wine selection by glass is pretty good. Each day there is a special so it is worth a try. This place is quiet, and the atmosphere is a bit more sophisticated... More

I expect one thing from a bar - to respect when I am done. Done drinking, that is. I went to UVA on a Saturday night for their whiskey and music. They don't take reservations but there is a fair amount of turnover and I was able to get a seat at the bar right next to where the band... More

Great location at the base of the hotel I stayed at. The waiter knew a fair bit about the wine list and was able to answer any questions I had. Once the restaurant got busy; the waiter pretty much left us in the corner with empty glasses. At one point, he did return and I was in the middle of... More

We wandered into this place on a whim, and liked it so much that we came back the next day. It's a neighborhood wine bar, with a decent (not overwhelming) selection of italian wines and and decent mixed plates. We had red wine, and a mixed plate of elk, cheese and olives - they were all lovely. Pricey, but within... More

We stumbled on this gem as we were heading to another choice that both of us were not really keen about. We were at the end of a skiing holiday and looking for something different with atmosphere and 'small plate' menu. We had a lovely evening and ended up finishing a bottle of red while slowly eating a selection of... More

I stumbled upon this lovely Italian wine bar (which also serves food) They staff was friendly, the antipasto and prosecco was very good. I enjoyed myself and I would definitely come back again next time I'm in Vancouver.

Don't bother unless you are desperate for a drink or want to chat to the staff. To start positively: The service was good (staff seemed friendly & competent) however the only other good thing I can say is that the antique looking store cupboard at the front is kind of nice.... Summary: Small and unimaginative wine list which is exceptionally... More
