I don't even know how many varieties they have. But they are probably the best I've ever had. Go early as it's a tiny place and you'll definitely wait in line to order.

I visited Vancouver a few years ago and never made it to Japadog, so I was dead set on getting there on my trip this year. There are a lot of things that don't live up to the hype but for me this was definitely not one of them. I ordered the Terimayo and LOVED it!! My only regret is... More

what a great and unique concept. My wife had the tempuras shrimp with ride on hot dog bun and raved about it for a couple days, mine was more of a elaborate chilli cheese dog, but definitely check this place out

Wasn't sure about ordering one of these hotdogs as I had never tried them before. WOW they are amazing, full of flavour and fresh ingredients!

They cut the hotdog so that it all gets nice and crispy and caramelized on the outside. The toppings are out of this world. And they have a sweet fried bun icecream "hotdog". Get the black sesame ice cream, it's the best!!

We ordered the #1 and #3 at the location on Burrard. I really wanted to like it, but the flavors were just weird and overpowering. My husband liked it more than I did. I had to choke down each bite. I consider myself to be pretty adventurous but this was way out of my league.

Terimayo and fries with butter and shoyo are the best. Always good, happy and friendly staff. A cool food experience! If you don´t know it, give it a try!

Three days in row, we noticed a line in front of this very casual, restaurant with a funny name, JapaDog. Being native Yankees, we are very picky about our hot dogs. the hots are terrific with a good snap when you bite into it. The roll is excellent. You can pick the toppings! Japanese toppings are the creative part. You... More

JAPADOG is a highly popular Vancouver hotdog hotspot, with an Asian twist. After tasting their Kurobuta Terimayo, I can see why. My JAPADOG #1, also known as "one of the must eat items in the world", packed a flavorful punch with their juicy Kurobuta sausage, terimayo sauce, and shredded seaweed. Coupled with a lightly grilled sweet bread bun, it did... More

I was told that I had to try JapaDog before leaving Vanvouver. I had the one topped with Japanese style mayo and dried Bonito flakes. It was fresh and tasty. The Bonita had a very strong and bold flavor. Let's just say the flavor lingered awhile.... :)
