Tried the japadog sandwich for lunch. It is about six inches long, with a sausage and some sea weed. Cost about $6, and $1 for pop. Taste was ok but texture was too soft for me. Also, I was still half starving after. It was so so.

The food was good but I think my expectations ran bit high. Unfortunately we only had US cash at the time so they gladly took it without converting US to CAD which mean that we ended up over paying for the meal.

Japadog is a cool place. It's also very popular so get there early if you don't want to stand in line for half an hour. The dogs are delicious and the fries are every bit as good. The variety is awesome and everything we tried was super tasty. I'm trying to think of a better dog but I'm not sure... More

I've been told about this place for a bit so finally found the tiny, hole in the wall restaurant downtown Vancouver. The food is original, fun, & worth the wait! I've not been there when it wasn't busy or had a line of people waiting for food. I try something different every time I go so I'll try all the... More

If ever close to a Japadog go. It is that simple, you will not be incorrect on choosing them, they are awesome. Kobe, meat sauce, butter fries, you cannot go wrong and will be surprised at how good it is and then you will want one in your city too. Street locations only take cash, and the Robson location takes... More

I had Japadogs a couple times when I visited Vancouver, and I have since been making a taste-alike version of my own at home. Absolutely great for street food. Not something you'd want to eat every single day as it is definitely not good for the arteries over time, but as a junk food treat every now and again you... More

After reading so many good reviews and my boyfriend being such a foodie we just had to try these! They are probably the best hot dogs I've had, the biggest surprise was how good the French fries were! Delicious hotdog with a Japanese twist! Yummm

Since this was my first Japadog experience, I had to order the Terimayo- the most popular dog according to the sign. The Japadog hype had been built up for months and I couldn't wait to sink my teeth into the traditional street food turned gourmet. The first bite was unaltered- eaten just the way it came... The salty seaweed and... More

I don't even know how many varieties they have. But they are probably the best I've ever had. Go early as it's a tiny place and you'll definitely wait in line to order.
