We live in Vancouver and have been to a number of dim sum restaurants. This place would be rated as mediocre. No cart service, although they do bring around the occasional tray of dim sum goodies for potential buyers. I have a favourite dim sum dish and at this place it was very mediocre and one of the poorest I... More

We are committed to eating along Kingsway and this Chinese restaurant always has a line or a busy parking lot with great reviews on foodie sites. So we ventured in and we were not disappointed. We had the beef with Chinese broccoli and the chicken hot pot with garlic, ginger. Both dishes were tasty, prepared well, the veggies were cooked... More

My kids love the dim sum here although the line ups get worse when you show up late. The dinners are good in terms of quality and value, especially for big groups. The only snag is that they accept cash for lunch. There is a lot of free parking around.

My wife and I drive in from Langley (a 40 minute drive) just to have dim sum at this restaurant. This is the only dim sum restaurant we feel satisfied outside of being actually in Asia. The prices are good. I have included some pictures of the menu. If you like Shui Mai Dumplings this is the place to eat... More

Came here for the dim sum. Located in a strip mall of sorts, if the parking lot is full there is plenty of residential parking around the corner. Arriving rather early-ish like 10:30 or so, there wasn't a wait - in fact it was pretty empty on a Friday morning. I don't know my dim sum names, but I know... More

Visited the Dai Tung at 9:15 AM in the morning for breakfast and that too to eat Dim Sum. WOW I thought I was crazy but my Chinese friend insisted that we should go there and that we would be pleasantly pleased with the food. Since I love to try out new places and am pretty adventurous with my taste... More

This is a busy place but they always manage to accommodate us. We come here for the honey garlic spareribs, we love them. They tasted slightly different on our recent visit. Maybe a one time thing I hope. I would hate to have to start looking for another favorite place! We always have enjoyed the food here and we like... More

The food was bland, greasy and undercooked, the service was horrid (long waits between courses) and the restaurant exhaust fan is way too loud. There are far better restaurants in the neighbourhood - avoid this one.
