Overall was solid.

I enjoyed the fish that we ordered. It was a surprised that it was fresh with good portion. The chicken was alright. We were a little disappointed with the size of the squab. It's skinny. No meat. The service was ok, the seating was ok, and the atmosphere is good. It's pricing is a little... read more

I love dim sum and have been to other dim sum restaurants where they bring carts around and you look at what's on the cart and take dishes as it makes its rounds. Then at the end, you pay by how many plates you have stacked on your table. Not to confuse you, but this one operates differently. They have... More

We went to this restuarant at 7 pm on a Monday and it was packed. A lot of Chinese diners which make me believe this must be a local favorite. The decor is updated and nice. The service was not the best but fast enough. The food was good. We had a whole fish dish, deep fried salt and pepper... More

Came for dim sum and salty chicken. Quality of food dropped so we are slightly disppointed. The price is reasonable though. As a typical Chinese restaurant, do not expect service and you won't get disappointed. Probably not come again as there are many other better restaurants in terms of food quality, service and pricing.

Very Disappointed. Used to be one of our favourites. Went there for dim sum this morning. Automatically get a tea pot and a hot water pot, no choice. $0.75 per person. Dim Sum dishes now $5.35 and up for the same dishes you can get anywhere in China Town or Richmond for $3.25. Not worth it left without ordering.

We were in the neighborhood to drop off a piece of luggage for repair and asked the ladies in the shop if they had a favorite Chinese joint along Kingsway, and they unanimously suggested Dai Tung. Sure glad they did. At lunch, the other diners were a reassuring mix of Chinese and Caucasians--in some restaurants in Richmond, you can feel... More

We live in Vancouver and have been to a number of dim sum restaurants. This place would be rated as mediocre. No cart service, although they do bring around the occasional tray of dim sum goodies for potential buyers. I have a favourite dim sum dish and at this place it was very mediocre and one of the poorest I... More

We are committed to eating along Kingsway and this Chinese restaurant always has a line or a busy parking lot with great reviews on foodie sites. So we ventured in and we were not disappointed. We had the beef with Chinese broccoli and the chicken hot pot with garlic, ginger. Both dishes were tasty, prepared well, the veggies were cooked... More

My kids love the dim sum here although the line ups get worse when you show up late. The dinners are good in terms of quality and value, especially for big groups. The only snag is that they accept cash for lunch. There is a lot of free parking around.

My wife and I drive in from Langley (a 40 minute drive) just to have dim sum at this restaurant. This is the only dim sum restaurant we feel satisfied outside of being actually in Asia. The prices are good. I have included some pictures of the menu. If you like Shui Mai Dumplings this is the place to eat... More
