This place is awesome and although I'm rarely on The Drive Prado is also somewhere I will hit if I'm in the area. The space is light and there is plenty of seating and they now also have a parklet outside for those sunny days. Service is always friendly and fast and the coffee is always spot on. They also... Best "Crema" outside of a coffee shop in Rome I used to hang out at! Eclectic choice of music on vinyl and interesting people watching! Local coffee shop worth dropping by! Could use some art on the walls; it is a bit "stark"!

It's got clean decor, large windows which is great for those gloomy Vancouver days, interesting looking guests, staff ask you how you wAnt your coffee, it's fresh and served with a friendly smile. If you're on the drive, pop in, but would not go out of my way to come back.

I prefer to order and sit outside to on the grey bench outside where a local comic was interviewed recently by CBC for one of their specials on being single. Awesome coffee, helpful and unpretentious staff and again their lattes are to die for :)

Of course everyone has their favourite cafe for different reasons. This one is my favourite. Why? First and foremost they put ALOT of attention into making first class espresso. While Prado is basically another 49th Parallel cafe, it has its own unique flavour. It's nice and bright and sunny inside, with benches outside. That's important to me. Dark dingy cafés... More

It was my first visit of Prado Cafe, and it will definitely not have been my last. It's already one of my favorite ones in Vancouver. The "cookie with no name" is an insiders' tip. So don't miss it. People said, they serve one the best coffee's in town - yes they do! So don't miss it!

I like this place. It's very open and has a clean charm with a commercial drive feel. Their traditional cappuccino is fantastic. Definitely worth a visit.

Coffee custom made to perfection! Chai tea with flavour but you would need to add your own sweetener or ask for it, not the tea bag version. Wonderful owner who is willing to please. The treats we tried were healthy but not amazing. I like that they weren't full of sugar. This place is very casual and constantly full the... More

Prado is simple, clean, minimal and open, with large windows which let in lots of light (when the sun is out, that is!) The beverage offerings are good quality and a fair price. Definitely one of my favorite spots on The Drive.

If you're looking for good coffee and an even better space to work in, come to Prado Cafe in Vancouver's Commercial Drive neighbourhood. Situated on the corner of E 4th and Commercial Drive in a heritage brick building, Prado seems to attract a cross section of the neighbourhood - the bohemian parents with well-dressed toddlers, the university students and freelance...
