Description: Surveying the panoramic vistas from the westernmost point of Tofino’s idyllic Chesterman Beach, The Pointe Restaurant’s Refined West Coast cuisine and attentive service come gift-wrapped with 240 degree views of the Pacific Ocean, surrounding islands and wildlife. Much of the fresh seafood is fished from the very waters overlooked by The Pointe, and a longstanding focus on locally sourced, high quality ingredients is evident. Dinner is offered on a seasonal à la carte menu, but for the best of the best, try Chef de Cuisine Nick Nutting’s weekly tasting menu; Daily brunch is a true treat. Out of the ordinary desserts reflect an innovative Pastry program where most everything - from bread to butter to scrumptious chocolate croissants are housemade. An extensive wine list, recognized yearly by Wine Spectator magazine, showcases BC’s finest selections with a broad range of international bottlings. Over 100 Scotch Whiskies and a creative cocktail menu can be savoured in the comfortable On the Rocks Lounge. A true taste of Rustic Elegance On Nature’s Edge - and the West Coast’s best views - are on the menu at The Pointe Restaurant and On the Rocks Lounge.

We did not have a dinner reservation nor were we staying at the Inn but we were told we could be seated and eat in the bar. We were very disappointed to learn that this meant literally at the bar in a row though there were several tables open in the bar, evidently ally reserved for people staying there. The... More

We booked weeks in advance as it was a holiday weekend; we were so glad we did. All courses were beautifully presented, the portions were not too large and not too small and there was a taste explosion with every course! The tables are orientated to offer spectacular views of the beach so don't worry if you can't have a... More

The first thing that stays in my mind is the amazing service. Hubby and I frolicked in - not knowing how fancy it was, with flip flops and a hoodie. We were greeted no different and even got to sit in the middle of the dining room.. I would have hid us in the corner somewhere. It was one of... More

The view from the Wickaninnish Inn cannot be beat! Overlooking the rocks and ocean, hope for a storm day. Food was good to average - stick to simple items, I had the Fish & Chips and it was the envy of my table. Wine list prices are very fair - we had an older vintage of a local wine and... More

Went many times while at the Wickaninnish Inn. Staff was awesome and food was so good. Pretty expensive but that should be somewhat expected. Definitely recommended for at least one meal if you are staying in Tofino.

The food is excellent here. The wait staff is knowledgable but a bit pretentious it seemed. We have dined at many restaurants and this was a lovely experience. Imaginatively prepared food from locally sourced ingredients.

I wasn't crazy about this restaurant. I had planned to eat breakfast there often, but only did once. Just didn't have the food and feel I wanted.

I wouldn't necessarily choose to eat here for the views, if your room already has a great view. It must be wonderful in storm season. We were there in Fogaust (local word for August). The food was perfectly fine

We celebrated our 40th Anniversary here. The view from our table was fabulous, the service impeccable, the meal was out of this world good. Don't pass up the opportunity to have one of the best meals ever.

simply perfect dining experience. Chefs happy to cater for individual dining requirements. Book ahead to avoid disappointment and we preferred the window seats so booked well in advance of arrival. Being a remote location food and wine price guide was reflective of this but was of good quality and quantity. We enjoyed every meal.
