Surveying the panoramic vistas from the westernmost point of Tofino’s idyllic Chesterman Beach, The Pointe Restaurant’s Refined West Coast cuisine and attentive service come gift-wrapped with 240 degree views of the Pacific Ocean, surrounding islands and wildlife. Much of the fresh seafood is fished from the very waters overlooked by The Pointe, and a longstanding focus on locally sourced, high quality ingredients is evident. Dinner is offered on a seasonal à la carte menu, but for the best of the best, try Chef de Cuisine Nick Nutting’s weekly tasting menu; Daily brunch is a true treat. Out of the ordinary desserts reflect an innovative Pastry program where most everything - from bread to butter to scrumptious chocolate croissants are housemade. An extensive wine list, recognized yearly by Wine Spectator magazine, showcases BC’s finest selections with a broad range of international bottlings. Over 100 Scotch Whiskies and a creative cocktail menu can be savoured in the comfortable On the Rocks Lounge. A true taste of Rustic Elegance On Nature’s Edge - and the West Coast’s best views - are on the menu at The Pointe Restaurant and On the Rocks Lounge.

Top marks in all departments

... including price. We had one of the best meals ever, starting with a sort of oyster mousse. followed by a scallop dish, finishing with an apple tart, all with nicely paired wines. Service top notch and very knowledgeable about what they were serving.

My husband and I ate here to celebrate our anniversary. We were staying in ucluelet. I'm glad we decided to dine here. The service is top notch, the food is excellent. The view is to die for. I had the lamb dinner and didn't regret it. I can still taste the dish when I think about it now. We will... More

Service and cuisine was exceptional. Pricy for dinner - but great value for breakfast. Good way to experience the Wick without the big price tag.

Stopped for drinks at The Pointe after a long day of paddling near Tofino and were lucky enough to get Danni as our bartender. She looked young enough to be our daughter but her bartender and social skills were as good as any bartender we've ever experienced. Danni, thank you from Bob, Debra, Lisa and Craig.

I first heard of the Wick in 2001 and vowed to get myself there one day, so by the time 2015 came I was underwhelmed. While breakfast was OK, the best part was being able to hand off my slicker and rain pants to the hostess -- never did that before! We also went there for my birthday dessert after... More

The views are amazing, especially at sunset. We had dinner two nights in a row and it was great to come back and sample more of the menu. Food was fantastic, everyone in our party of 6 was delighted with their dishes. The staff were great, very knowledgeable about the dishes and wines to go with them. We loved the... More

The view here is amazing, but make sure you arrive before the sun sets so that you can see out of the windows. Food was good, but considering the quality of the produce the food was a bit too complicated. Staff were very good, but expected good tips in return. Good food, but not better than other places in Tofino.

My husband and I celebrated a family connection by spending a night at the Wickaninnish Inn as well as dine at the Pointe restaurant. We were treated most royally! We chose the tasting menu to try as many creations as possible and we were not disappointed. The presentations were beautiful, the flavours exquisite and the attentiveness in service and information... More

Breakfasts very good. Dinner very average, very expensive. Service can be good, or you can feel as if some of the staff waiting on you have an exaggerated feeling of self importance working there. We have had many better meals in other restaurants in the area, for half the price.
