Description: Surveying the panoramic vistas from the westernmost point of Tofino’s idyllic Chesterman Beach, The Pointe Restaurant’s Refined West Coast cuisine and attentive service come gift-wrapped with 240 degree views of the Pacific Ocean, surrounding islands and wildlife. Much of the fresh seafood is fished from the very waters overlooked by The Pointe, and a longstanding focus on locally sourced, high quality ingredients is evident. Dinner is offered on a seasonal à la carte menu, but for the best of the best, try Chef de Cuisine Nick Nutting’s weekly tasting menu; Daily brunch is a true treat. Out of the ordinary desserts reflect an innovative Pastry program where most everything - from bread to butter to scrumptious chocolate croissants are housemade. An extensive wine list, recognized yearly by Wine Spectator magazine, showcases BC’s finest selections with a broad range of international bottlings. Over 100 Scotch Whiskies and a creative cocktail menu can be savoured in the comfortable On the Rocks Lounge. A true taste of Rustic Elegance On Nature’s Edge - and the West Coast’s best views - are on the menu at The Pointe Restaurant and On the Rocks Lounge.

Went for our last breakfast before hitting the road and everything was perfectly cooked / perfect temperatures etc. Absolutely worth the price - excellent flavors / excellent service and presentation.

Over the last decade we have enjoyed The Wick many times. Today was equally special as we went for lunch. The menu is half breakfast/brunch and half lunch items. Perfect for the two of us. Seated immediately at a premier window table it was high tide and the waves were crashing on the rocks right below our window adding drama... More

We decided to go for the tasting menu with wine pairings and it proved a great choice. Food presentation and flavour was excellent but the accompanying wines were sensational. Mostly BC wines and locally sourced foods. What made the evening so enjoyable was that when we made the reservation Chef David Sider responded right away to the fact that one... More

We stayed at the Wickaninnish Inn and ate every night at the Pointe Restaurant, but never tired of the food. We found there was plenty of variety on offer to satisfy us for the six nights we stayed at the Inn. The restaurant is constructed of a lot of wood, very rustic and in keeping with its surroundings and is... More

The food was great, the view was unbeatable. The service was a bit off when we were not brought the correct items and items missed from our order. Other than the misses, it was good. Very relaxing. The feel is "high-end" but really high end Tofino is just Saturday shopping Vancouver, so don't be intimidated. Enjoy!

A bit pricey but the ambiance spectacular. The sunset ocean view was terrific as we watched surfers and paddle boarders. Food was very tasty and service was good.

We went to the Pointe Restaurant after recommendations to try their tasting and wine pairings menu. What an experience! Chef Barr's creativity was evident on every plate. We tasted some food we had never tried before and other food in ways we would have never considered. Our server and the rest of the staff were professional, courteous and extremely knowledgeable... Although not staying here, we did stop in at The Pointe restaurant for wine and appys mid-afternoon. It was a stormy, rainy day and the view was great with a few surfers braving the waves too. Pleasant wait staff and enjoyed our stop here. Have been coming to Tofino/Ucluelet area for many years and finally got here. Worth a stop... More

Amazing view, unfortunately you can only reserve window table if you stay at the hotel. We got a gift certificate for a wedding gift. We reserved two days in advance and were told "no window tables if you don't stay in the hotel. At that point I didn't want to eat there but we had this certificate to use. We... More
