Surveying the panoramic vistas from the westernmost point of Tofino’s idyllic Chesterman Beach, The Pointe Restaurant’s Refined West Coast cuisine and attentive service come gift-wrapped with 240 degree views of the Pacific Ocean, surrounding islands and wildlife. Much of the fresh seafood is fished from the very waters overlooked by The Pointe, and a longstanding focus on locally sourced, high quality ingredients is evident. Dinner is offered on a seasonal à la carte menu, but for the best of the best, try Executive Chef Warren Barr's weekly tasting menu; Daily brunch is a true treat. Out of the ordinary desserts reflect an innovative Pastry program where most everything - from bread to butter to scrumptious chocolate croissants are housemade. An extensive wine list, recognized yearly by Wine Spectator magazine, showcases BC’s finest selections with a broad range of international bottlings. Over 100 Scotch Whiskies and a creative cocktail menu can be savoured in the comfortable On the Rocks Lounge. A true taste of Rustic Elegance On Nature’s Edge - and the West Coast’s best views - are on the menu at The Pointe Restaurant and On the Rocks Lounge.

Incredible views, spectacular cheeses, wine and desserts, but main course and appetizer just okay.

Sometimes too much is just too much. In the quest to compete in the culinary world sometimes you go too far. Our main course and appetizers (sweet bread and seasonal salad) were really just okay, and I would never order again. That said, the cheese, wine and desserts were outstanding and took... read more

Each summer we dine at the Pointe while we stay at the Wick. Food is always delicious, fine dining in a gorgeous glass room overlooking the rolling waves. This year we found the food even better than years before. We had to dine there 3 nights in a row to try all the entrees on the menu that caught our... More

Wow! Stunning views, service, food and ambiance. Best dining experience I've had in a long time. Not to be missed. We were particularly impressed with our waiters knowledge and advice for pairing dishes with wines offered. Every visit to Tofino should include a meal at the Wick.

Great food with a wonderful view and excellent service. Nolan, our server, was excellent especially with our two kids. Very personable and engaging with the professionalism you would expect fro this type of restaurant.

One of the best restaurants and views in Canada, the food, wine and service is second to none and you'll be hard pushed to better this anywhere. Quite superb and well worth a visit if your on Vancouver Island.

The breakfast/ brunch is simply amazing. Great views of beach and rocks and food is delicious. Best blueberry pancakes I've had in a long time..! For dinner they do a menu every day. Mainly local fish. Very good too. Service very nice and efficient. Formal but relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend.

The food here is astonishingly good - some of the best I have ever eaten. We had two dinners (and two breakfasts - also wonderful) and were quite blown away by the combination of the quality of the food and the presentation. Green pea soup was just mind blowingly delicious - and it wasn't even mine! My veal sweetbreads, with... More

Lots of good reviews here, all warranted. It's pretty expensive, to tell the truth, so don't be surprised. But it's first class and worth every nickel...
