Description: Surveying the panoramic vistas from the westernmost point of Tofino’s idyllic Chesterman Beach, The Pointe Restaurant’s Refined West Coast cuisine and attentive service come gift-wrapped with 240 degree views of the Pacific Ocean, surrounding islands and wildlife. Much of the fresh seafood is fished from the very waters overlooked by The Pointe, and a longstanding focus on locally sourced, high quality ingredients is evident. Dinner is offered on a seasonal à la carte menu, but for the best of the best, try Chef de Cuisine Nick Nutting’s weekly tasting menu; Daily brunch is a true treat. Out of the ordinary desserts reflect an innovative Pastry program where most everything - from bread to butter to scrumptious chocolate croissants are housemade. An extensive wine list, recognized yearly by Wine Spectator magazine, showcases BC’s finest selections with a broad range of international bottlings. Over 100 Scotch Whiskies and a creative cocktail menu can be savoured in the comfortable On the Rocks Lounge. A true taste of Rustic Elegance On Nature’s Edge - and the West Coast’s best views - are on the menu at The Pointe Restaurant and On the Rocks Lounge.

What a well designed, well executed place to dine, and it would seem, to stay. Attention to details is evident, well trained and friendly staff and a freshly original menu.

Great service, great food, great service with a lot of heart. We had all the fish dishes and they were amazing. The soup and salads are very tasty too. Remember to try the desserts - what a great selection.

The food is world class! My husband and I had dinner here on our honeymoon. They treated us like royalty. Will definitely go back!

Had the Goat Cheese Quiche and pancakes, at this restaurant. Food was excellent, portions were generous and the view lovely. Had dinner the night before, and it was excellent as well. Fairly expensive, but you get ample food, definitely won't leave hungry.

Wine, service, food, atmosphere - perfect. Our server Jeff played a big role in a wonderful evening out. The portions are not huge and they don't need to be when the quality is top-notch. We enjoyed hearing how the dishes were prepared and where the ingredients were sourced from. Service was professional without being fake, "I'm gunning for a big... More

We stayed at the Wickanninish for six nights and ate at the Pointe Restaurant and Lounge at least half a dozen times. Every meal was memorable for the food, view and impeccable service. The executive chef called our room and offered to make us whatever we wanted - wow!! The chef even came out and introduced himself that evening. We... More

There were 3 generations to please when we dined that afternoon. Not one of us left with space to eat another bite, the choices at brunch were exceptional and the scenery was breathtaking! We had an uninterrupted view of the ocean. Our server, a lovely young woman, took exceptional care of our entire party, starting with warm breads from the... More

We had a table with an amazing view and the food was great from start to finish. Excellent selection with local fresh ingredients cooked to perfection. The service was outstanding. I look forward to returning in the future.

After visiting some of the best restaurants in both Vancouver and Whistler we were very curious what the Pointe Restaurant would be like. What more can we say other than that it gained a perfect score! Service and food quality both impeccable, knowledge about the wines and menu from the waitress (Lisa) was very good, not affraid to give advice... More

We came here for lunch in July, 2014. The restaurant environment and view is excellent specially if you can have a window seat, but that's about all you got. The service is nice but very distance. The food was a disappointment specially when you consider how pricey it is. We had fish and chips and seared fish for lunch. Portion... More
