Description: Surveying the panoramic vistas from the westernmost point of Tofino’s...
Surveying the panoramic vistas from the westernmost point of Tofino’s idyllic Chesterman Beach, The Pointe Restaurant’s Refined West Coast cuisine and attentive service come gift-wrapped with 240 degree views of the Pacific Ocean, surrounding islands and wildlife. Much of the fresh seafood is fished from the very waters overlooked by The Pointe, and a longstanding focus on locally sourced, high quality ingredients is evident. Dinner is offered on a seasonal à la carte menu, but for the best of the best, try Chef de Cuisine Nick Nutting’s weekly tasting menu; Daily brunch is a true treat. Out of the ordinary desserts reflect an innovative Pastry program where most everything - from bread to butter to scrumptious chocolate croissants are housemade. An extensive wine list, recognized yearly by Wine Spectator magazine, showcases BC’s finest selections with a broad range of international bottlings. Over 100 Scotch Whiskies and a creative cocktail menu can be savoured in the comfortable On the Rocks Lounge. A true taste of Rustic Elegance On Nature’s Edge - and the West Coast’s best views - are on the menu at The Pointe Restaurant and On the Rocks Lounge.

We had a wonderful time at the Pointe. It was a special occasion for my husband and I and we indulged ourselves. The room, the service , the food and wine were all excellent. This is first class service but not at all stuffy. We both ordered the tasting menu with matched wine. It was delicious but I must say... More

The view from the dining room was spectacular! Our waiter was polite, friendly and efficient as was our hostess. The meal was a work of art. All of our meals arrived at the same time with staff delivering each plate individually. Our server explained what each item was, on our plates. Each bite was as good as the last. This... More

But with an incomprehensible menu, and mediocre food it is not worth the price. The salad felt like it was just cut, off a shrub! Hearty is one thing... Twigs are another!!!! And so many words on the menu one can't possibly understand, even if technically correct. The area and clientele scream for simple good food... not snobbery! When diners... More

What a winderful place to celebrate any event, but was particularly nice for Mothers Day Brunch. Wickanish Inn Point Restaurant has to be one of the best in the world. Looking out over the beach, rocks and seeing miles of sand to walk your bunch on after made it extra special. The resturant has a cool, west coast interior with... More

The view was spectacular! The service was friendly and welcoming. The amuse bouche led us to believe that our dinner was going to be amazing, and the appetizer was so good--a warm asparagus with chicken mousse stuffed in morels and sprinkled with porcini powder. But my entree of lamb loin was a little tasteless although beautifully presented. My friends' dishes... More

Dear 63corinne2015, The Pointe Restaurant is located in the Wickaninnish Inn with a view of Chesterman Beach, and is open 7 days a week with the exception of a couple weeks in January when the property is closed for improvements. We believe you are referring to the Kwisitis Feast House Restaurant (formerly the Wickaninnish Restaurant), located in the Pacific Rim... More

Ok, the view is great and Nolan is a charmer. But, the food left us all wishing for something better. Flavor was lacking and portions are very small (maybe I should count that as a positive ). Actually, the 5 small scallops were about enough, but again there was nothing accompanying them to jazz things up. Where was the umami?... More

We recently were planning to host a breakfast for 19 people including children but woke up to rain and decided to go to the Pointe instead. Our call was made less than an hour for a reservation and everything was ready including special consideration made for 8 children ranging from 5 months to 12 years of age. We were placed... More
