Good breakfast, but very busy

Breakfast here is good, but you'll have to wait in line, and it takes a while for your meal to arrive after you've ordered at the counter. Nicely presented plates and a little different from the norm (as is all of Tofino).

Charming old house. Better than average baked goods. Not great selection of gluten free. Tasty coffee. Can be quite busy.

I would say this bakery is somewhat over rated. Congested and tight quarters don't offer the ideal setting for breakfast in my view. My muffin was fine as was the cinnamon roll that my wife purchased. But in summary this restaurant/cafe disappointed a touch.

Stopped at the Bakery for what appeared to be delicious muffins. I don't know if the Bakery was having a bad day but the two muffins that we purchased were just a tad better than awful. These fruit muffins had very little fruit and even less taste. The staff was so nice that I will just assume they were having... More

Nice place to have breakfast. Everything cooked fresh and reasonably priced. Very small seating area upstairs but adequate.

Really enjoyed the chocolate strawberry muffin here. The upstairs seating is so nice. Everyone was so pleasant and the woman that made my coffee was so very friendly. We also had a breakfast and it was fantastic, the fresh bread and ripe tomato were perfect. Definitely a great place to grab breakfast or a snack.

Was told to check this place out by everyone I knew who'd been to Tofino before. The coffee was great, and the food was average, but this rustic/hippie-friendly cafe was too crowded to feel comfortable in.

Stopped by the pick up some provisions for a hike, the staff were friendly and the bakery itself was very pretty. The salmon sandwiches were the best I have ever had.

We got married in Tofino surrounded by 21 family members and closest friends, and we did a Common Loaf Bakery run every morning to pick up a variety of buns, muffins, pastries and sweets for our family-style breakfasts. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, and we loved everything we tried!

Staff need to be more person friendly and service needs sorting. We waited 35 mins for two panini but never informed of waiting time when ordered otherwise we would have just had sandwich. When it arrived it was actually a toasted sandwich not panini. It did come with an apology for wait to be fair to young girl who brought... More
