We stopped at the Wildside Grill on Friday, Dec. 5th to get food for dinner. While waiting for our food, we got to take my grandson to visit Santa, who was there as part of Tofino's Jingle into Christmas. The portions were generous and delicious and the food was still piping hot as we arrived back at Cox Bay Beach... More

We were hungry and the reviews said the Wildside Grill was one of the best places to eat in Tofino. Actually it is outside Tofino in a little strip mall catering to surfers. We were surprised and disappointed to see that it was a walk up and take out place with a few tables under the trees. Disappointed because in... More

Awesome awesome food! Great service too! They have great options for meat lovers and vegetarians alike :) My favourites are the Wild Shrimp burger (with a great spicy mayo), the Pulled Pork Ciabatta, Pulled Pork Poutine, and the Seafood Chowder!!

This place has wonderful food! There's a great variety of choices, all cooked fresh to order! We've eaten at a lot of places in Tofino and this one is a favourite!

We were planning to go to tacofino but ended up here because tacofino was closed. We had the fish and chips and fish tacos and both were tastey. We would have liked to have tried the salmon but sadly it was sold out. All in all delcious food and reasonably priced.

Five of us visited for lunch and everything was delicious. If you eat under the trees watch out for the cheeky crows though :)

Went for take-out to be enjoyed overlooking McKenzie beach was a fabulous decision. Ordered the salmon burger and seafood chowder. Oh my oh my!! My salmon was pink, perfectly seasoned, not over-salted tender and juicy. The bun could have been toasted, but not a deal breaker as the fish was heavenly. Actually fresh for many times purveyors say it is... More

We went to the wildside grill right before we left Tofino. I had the fish tacos, which were amazing. They could make a low-gluten/gluten-free version as well, which was great. My kids devoured the fish and chips. I take it they were good too. The outside sitting area was a pleasant surprise, and, although covered somewhat, wouldn't have been the... More

The Wild Side, located a few miles on Highway 20 outside of Tofino proper, specializes in fish and chips and does so with real flair. The fish are crisp and flakey and the fries are outstanding as well. This is a small shop with tables in the open air and under rudimentary shelter but these surroundings give the menu a... More

Very popular so be prepared to wait. Tacos delicious and all else was excellent too. I had a vegetable sub that was very fresh and delicious. Watch out for the birds who also look forward to your crumbs!!
