We ate here twice and the local mussels are to die for. Anything on the menu was great, tasty, the service was awesome and daily specials a great deal.

Good for fish and chips, and stay with fish and chips. I ordered the grill fish - while it was good, my husband's fried fish was awesome. I see a lot of people getting 2 fish fillets and chips to share instead of one order each, and I think I should have done that with my husband as portion was... More

Ordered a burger and it consisted of a small dry puck like patty halve the size of the cold and dry bun. Inedible. Fries were good though as was the service.

This place was recommend by several people off the island and on the island. It was also across the street from the Vesuvius Villas that we were staying at, so why not try it? Fish and chips is their speciality and this did not disappoint. I had the snapper as it was fresh in season, and it was sweet and... More

Okay, I reposting my visit from 2014, as I visit this restaurant every time I am lucky enough to visit Salt Spring Island. I can't speak for anything else on the menu, but I can vouch for the fish and chips - best ever! I always order the halibut with "half fries, half salad" and get the Ceasar salad, and... More

This is a very local small restaurant overlooking the water. The food was quite good, but what made the visit memorable was the service provided by our waitress. She was warm and friendly and ready to answer all our questions and our conversation with her made us feel at home. She also gave us recommendations for dinner in Victoria.

This is like two restaurants in one -- an indoor cramped little café, and a beautiful outdoor deck overlooking the ocean to the west. We arrived without reservations and were told that all of the patio tables were reserved. We were not going to eat indoors and ultimately got a seat outside because we promised to leave within an hour... More

We were on the island with friends and looking for three different places to have a dinner. This was recommended by some locals and we were not disappointed. Had great calamari, oinion rings and fish and chips. All as good as you can get it although I think as everything was in a delicious batter we probably OD'd on fats,... More

When we visit friends on Saltspring, this is our go to place. The serving ladies are lovely and friendly- long time friends of our hosts. Not only are the fish and chips the "best ever" type but you are able to order smaller portions so that you are not filled up with too much fried food. The accompanying coleslaw is... More
