We had spent the day on Salt Spring Island to see their fabulous Farmer's Market, tour the island and do a little bit of shopping. When it was time to head out to catch the ferry for the mainland, we misjudged the time and ended up with a wait of over an hour. And dinner time was looming. We were... More

Just a short drive from Ganges you will find this gem of a seaside restaurant tucked in next to the ferry terminal. There is plenty of parking available and room on the deck that provides guests with great views of the ferry coming and going, the ocean and fall colours on the trees that line the shore. We recommend the... More

Stopped in on a whim and was treated well. Great spot on the deck, in the sun, with a view, really picturesque. The calamari was done just right, and the halibut and chips were tasty. Try the dark lager on tap.

I visit this restaurant every time I am lucky enough to visit Salt Spring Island. I can't speak for anything else on the menu, but I can vouch for the fish and chips - best ever! I always order the halibut with "half fries, half salad" and get the Ceasar salad, and I have never been disappointed. A real treat.

My husband and I were back twice for the mussels! The broth is amazing and if we were on the Island longer, we would've kept going back to this wonderful little restaurant with a wonderful view. Also had the fish and chips and salmon burger - DELICIOUS!! This place is definitely worth the very short drive out of Ganges. Food... More

If you have been looking for the best fish and chips, search no more, the halibut and chips are the best I have had. Last year on a trip to Halifax , we tried many places that professed to have the best. But none compared to Seaside. With the wonderful views from the deck and the super friendly staff, you... More

We have find memories of this restaurant as we had dined here 22 years ago with our young family. As we drove up last night, we were so pleased to see the restaurant still serving great food. Although we did not have a reservation, the hostess was friendly & did find us a table on the deck. The view was... More

Dropped by for a sunset dinner, without a reservation. Wanted to dine on the patio to enjoy the fresh air and setting sun. There was nothing, and we said we'd try back the next day with a reservation, but as we were leaving the hostess indicated that if we could wait for just a few minutes, she did have a... More

Fine halibut and chips. They make a great Oyster Burger when in season. All else is very tasty but a reservation is good in the high season !!
