Worth the visit!

Very quaint and cozy place with friendly staff; I very much enjoyed the ambiance. My breakfast sandwich was very tasty. I’ll be coming back my next visit to the island!

Giant muffins - regular plus some gluten-free. Pies, deli dishes, deli sandwiches, salads, and great coffee. Staff always seem glad to see me, and I know it ain't my looks! Must be good, as I see lots of friends there.

We had a light lunch topped of by a yummy dessert! I had a samosa and my Mom had a grilled cheese. Both were delicious and hot....topped by a yummy cookie!

Now here is a hard working, home cooking, delicious and hearty lunches kind of place! I ate there yesterday, meat loaf sandwich and a bowl of thai-chicken soup! Yum!!! I was too full for desert but i've had thier caramel chocolate shortbread and that is totally scrumptious! Nice warm environment also, one of my favourite lunch spots.

It's is had to believe how talented one woman can be. From coffee to snacks, breakfast, lunch and supper items. Eat in, take out, hot and ready to eat, cold and ready to heat and eat, frozen for another day. Wow, and thanks Penny. She even makes home made jam. Where does she get the time. And always friendly staff.

My favourite place to go if I want to grab something premade for lunch. Great sandwiches and a large variety of yummy meals and treats ready to take with you or eat there.

Penny's is owned and run by a local woman and staffed mostly by extended family. They are friendly, and always cooking up something wholesome. Calling it a restaurant is a stretch, as sitting is minimal, and not cozy not private. Food is good, homemade, without quotes around it. They use the ingredients you would, if you are any good at... A tiny little place easily overlooked, but watch out for the bright pink cottage and make sure you stop for some incredibly delectable baked goods and satisfying sandwiches. Only brewed coffee available, so don't plan on getting a latte here, but otherwise well worth a stop. I can definitely recommend the raspberry almond squares and maple bars! Mmmm...

Best sandwiches you can find. Fresh thick homemade bread is used to perfect the abundant ingredients.
