We stopped by on a couple of days for coffee and muffins. Another day we had soup which was very good. A nice place to sit outside and watch the world go by served by a very friendly waitress.

We stopped by for a late breakfast. I agree with a previous reviewer that the coffee was very bitter. The buns were excellent, but other than that nothing special. The server wasn't very friendly and, service was very slow and more expensive than other comparable places. I preferred the other bake shops in town.

Didn't have a meal there but stopped for a coffee and pastry. It is well known and respected in the community. Fantastic bakery section. Good sandwiches. A must stop for a light meal.

Lots of choices for quick or full breakfast & food was delicious. Very friendly staff. Obviously very popular with the locals as very busy. Scrumptious looking bakery goods. Inside & outside seating.

Didn't try the baked goods because I don't eat gluten. The coffee is bitter and terrible. The juices are okay but really nothing outstanding. Salt Spring is a beautiful island but as far as food choices goes, it sucks.

Best grilled cheese we've had. The grilled cheese with ham is especially delicious (nice thick ham steak). The bread is baked at the bakery in house and the apple slaw is very tasty as well.

We visit the island each year and this is on our must visit list each and every time. Great food, fun people watching opportunities, yummy bakery treats.

We finally went here after seeing Barb's from the parking area many times! It was lunch time, and the indoor area was full, there were seats available outside though, We did a take-away. Between us we had a sandwich and a wrap, both were fresh and very tasty. Also got some coffee's, which were excellent. The pastries looked very appetizing,... More

Good coffee - nice freshly baked bread and in-house baked goodies. Would definitely go back the next time we're in Salt Spring.
