good food but nothing special,

I enjoyed my salmon burger, the fries were kind of burnt and cold. I saw some really yummy looking food being brought to other people though... my title kind of explains my sentiments

We sat at a lovely window table overlooking the harbour. Lots to watch as the boats came in and out. We had attentive service and chose a seafood crepe as our main course - something fairly new on Oystercatcher's menu. It was delicious - I would recommend it. All in all a very pleasant experience.

We enjoyed an evening on the water listening to Simone and her husband. The outdoor fireplace made it comfortable all night.

There were 7 of us who dined there. Asia was our server and she was fantastic--on top of everything, very sweet and friendly. Our food was absolutely delicious. Everyone loved their dishes and we all had something different. The lamb pops was the star of the show as the preparation was so unique. Everyone gave their meals a 5. The... More

Most waterfront restaurants are just to crazy busy, but these guys have found a great balance. They raise their own beef and lamb, excellent lamb burger. The local servers are so personable. The local band, I believe her name is Simone, plays right on the waterfront in front of the restaurants fireplaces. Do you see what I mean? These guys... More

Location is nice, right beside the water. We sat outside facing the water, which was very nice. Service is good, staff helpful, food is okay.

Highlight of this place is the patio and the beautiful location right by the marina, and friendly staff. Lowlight is the food, and price of the food for what you get. The raw oysters were pretty good, but being on a a Gulf Island, it seems criminal that the only oysters available were Atlantic ones, still decent. We ordered the... More

This isn't about the Oystercatcher, but about its related cafe, Burger Bar 537. Tried to get dinner on a summer Friday evening; service was so slow that we gave up and left. After 2 assurances by our server that "it's coming soon". Why do they say that, when a) it's false and b) they really have no idea. I have... More

This restaurant is well situated along the harbour in Ganges. But whenever i have been here, which is usually in the summer, they have a very loud singer/group that comes on about 7 PM that makes simple talking impossible. We usually arrive in Ganges by sailboat and row ashore to have a nice meal. This restaurant should be ideal for... More

The view of the Ganges harbor and the outdoor tables were great, listening to the music watching people stroll buy. The outdoor dining is plentiful and we had no wait. We assumed that since the establishment was so busy we would have to wait for our order for at least 45 minutes, it was served about 20 minutes after we... More
