This restaurant is in a great location overlooking the harbour with outside seating but the food was poor and overpriced. Our 2 children (10 and 12) each had the adult sized fish and chips. The portion size wasn't big and the fish was poorly battered and dry. We had a sharing portion of nachos that was huge but tasteless and... More

My friend and I recently visited the Oystercatcher on our day trip to Saltspring Island. It had a great view of the harbour but that is where the great ended. We walked in and no one told us where to be seated. The fellow at the door pointed down the hall and we ended up at the entrance to the... More

Nice spot overlooking the harbor at Ganges. I was cool and damp this day and the outdoor fire pits were warm and welcoming. Food and service were both pretty good.

Awful, awful food. Calamari was terrible. Over cooked rubber. Almost puked! Soggy fish & oddly salted fries. $65 for a terrible, terrible lunch! The tree house cafe next store is delicious! Ate every meal there.

The food wasn't edible. I ordered the crab cakes which came with 3 Brussels sprouts cut in half, some potatoes that tasted like dirty dish water and two crab cakes served on a dirty piece of wood and it wasn't cheap. My husband had the lamb burger and fries which was served COLD and the fries were soggy and floppy.... More

Came here over the weekend on our boat with my family; we sat outside on he patio and immediately we noticed the servers seemed stressed. The food took a long time; we ordered 5 different types of burgers, the meat was all over cooked; the deep fried chicken was borderline burnt normally we would send it back but we waited... More

I had eaten here a few years ago and it was only OK, but due to the stellar views of the marina, we decided to give it another shot.....and shouldn't have; the food wasn't good. mussels were poor (especially considering where we were) but the oysters were absolutely horrible and I didn't finish them. Nice building, great location, stunning views....but... More

Go somewhere else. I had the waiter explain to me what their Oyster Po-boy was. I kinda new, but told me it was basically Oyster and Fries. Hmmm okay so i ordered it. It was an Oyster Burger. I could not eat the bun for health reasons. The three oysters were only luke warm and looked liked they had be... More

Don't be fooled by the view over the marina, the food and service is very poor. Never tasted such bad oysters in an oyster zone at that. The advertised salt spring lamb and potatoes for the price were not enjoyable and would guess the staff is students doing a summer job.its an oystercatcher for sure! Sent one dish back for the...
