I've been to Sushi Restaurants in Vegas , Toronto and this restaurant is excellent, the tuna, salmon melted in my mouth . Good presentation of the dishes, the waitresses were very helpful..nice atmosphere, outdoor seating available .Prices were reasonable .

We went here for dinner because of the positive tripadvisor ratings. We were not disappointed. The sushi is very delicious, fresh made, served in a cosy place. The price was from our point of view truly fair. We paid for 5 rolls (fish, not vegetables) CAD 38. We enjoyed our dinner and would eat here again. The restaurant is rather... More

Be careful about the combination platters. I didn't ask but they came with three choices six each for a total 18 pieces! We came in for a light bite for lunch but left thinking we weren't going to eat dinner. The food was outstanding. I really like the spicy sockeye roll. I wasn't too keen on the smoked salmon. It... We went here to celebrate our visit. Order the go-mae and five different sushi rolls. The chef's sashimi order was best. Atmosphere is in a rustic loft setting, even has an outdoors patio. A truly satisfying meal we had. I recommend Opa's.

We love this restaurant. Such a cozy dining room, with lots of warm wood and great music, you feel absolutely transported while there. We've sampled much from the menu, from the classic sushi and sashimi choices to creations I've never seen before. The Wasabi Fire roll was a delight, with spicy crab and sockeye. The Sweetnuts roll combines unagi and... More

My husband and I really enjoyed Opa when we patronized it 10 years ago. We still remember the sushi then. We always go to Opa whenever we are in town. Through the years - it has not disappointed us. However, this latest trip (last week) was a disappointment. Hope they return to their high standard of yesteryears.

Best sushi I've ever had. Knocks the sock off any sushi in Vancouver. Well done! Very fresh and interesting.

Prince Rupert has not s lot of options for dining (for now) and this one is probably one of the best option you will have. Don'e expect Tokyo quality, but the place is clean, the food week prepared and the fish very fresh.

The setting inside the restaurant was simple and beautiful with a lot of old wood and simple ocean throwback décor like paper octopus lanterns. Very fitting. All the staff was friendly and professional and food was delicious. Our group ate here about 5 times in 11 nights, and while we noticed that the quality depended on who was in the... More
