clean and good service, think they were a bit overwhelmed with the crowd. I had the halibut fish and chips, was told the chips were made fresh if they were they were not good, and the fish was so greasy I tried to squeeze as much grease as I could off it, but the fish underneath was good. nope not... The food was fantastic, as well,as the server. Not sure of her name but was originally from France. Very attentive. Ambiance is cool, as the building is about a hundred years old.

Nicely appointed in the Cow Bay area. It's a café and bar with many TV's. I'll go back .............

We thought with a restaurant that close to the water and the history of the restaurant as long as it is the food would be exceptional. The menu has a good selection of local fare, and the prices were reasonal for the area. I had the Salmon and rice dish and was disapoint with the pin bones still in the... More

Upon arrival at the restaurant in early afternoon I was immediately ushered into a back room where there were other natives, using the excuse "you'll love the view of the water back here". I sat for a few minutes, noting a strong smell of urine! I got up and went to sit in the front part. The food was adequate... More

Couldn't get into Dolly's that night so we tried here. The server was friendly and efficient, but our halibut burgers were disappointing (tiny piece of fish lost in a big bun and not much else) and overpriced. We ended up spending $30 for 2 burgers that were mediocre, indifferent atmosphere and the sense that we didn't really matter that much... More

I come here every visit to Rupert and always get an awesome meal at a price that doesn't normally exist for good (let alone fresh) seafood. Don't expect a 5 star chef and don't expect 1 class atmosphere, but expect an awesome meal at an awesome price with a warm smile from a friendly waitress. Calm, relaxing, and a view... More

We arrived just when the doors opened and were immediately shown to a table and provided with good service. They did not have some items on the menu. When we ordered our salad she came back and said they were out of the dressing we requested. We had burgers, which were alright. Service was great, atmosphere ok, it got busy... More
