Had a bad experience with a microwaved lasagne and a hot salad. At east put the salad on a cold plate.16$ for a small piece of food and a hot salad .I guess the trip advisor reports have gone to their head.Too bad.Nice view. Not one thank you or even a polite good by.Never Again

Very warm atmosphere and most hospitable staff. The owner is a chef and is hands on and welcomes everyone with open arms. Food is made to order, fresh daily. This is a small quaint location and the owner after being asked for many years for her recipes finally published a cook book called "No More Secrets". Definitely worth it. If... More

I always try to hit this awesome restaurant when I'm in town. The menu is very small and changes daily but has the most creative and tasty items. I just love it!! Views are great too. There are very few tables so it is usually very busy at lunch time. Never been for dinner but imagine it too would be... More

This place can get busy! Make a reservation because the food there is great, it's bought the same day so its definitely fresh and the way she puts it together is delicious! Every once in a while I'll go there for dinner and I've never had a bad meal. Her place is right on the waterfront so its great to... More

I've been four or five times now, and have never had even a mere average meal. It's just great, with a beautiful view of the harbour as you eat fantastic food. If I must nitpick, it's a bit crowded and the menu is a bit short, but that's just the nature of a small place with good food.

The menu is on a white board and changes frequently. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and with the right amount of spice for a chipotle cream. The service was excellent and the dessert menu to die for. Worth every penny!

Love the dining experience at Cow bay Cafe - excellent and varied menu, well presented and just the right amount of seasoning to actually taste the food items. Desserts are to die for!

After eating fresh fish all summer long because we fish, we opted for the ribs and potato enchilada's . Pretty disappointed. I suspect due to all the wonderful reviews that fish is their specialty. There was not a lot of meat on the ribs, and were lacking in flavor and the potato enchiladas were also fairly bland. For the price... More
