A group of ten of us have boycotted Ric's Grill for many years now. We had a reservation for a group of eight one night which had been confirmed by a party member after it was booked. Friends of the owner came along told him in front of us they didn't have a reservation ... they were given the next... More

Booked out a large reception in the upstairs of Ric's grill for THIS MONTH. I booked 6 months in advance and made all the necessary plans/arrangements for this event. I got an email from a friend telling me that Ric's answering machine says they are closed for the summer?! I immediately called and left and message and then email the... More

Ric's used to be one of my favourite restaurants, back in their first few years in PG. In the last few years, I've been disappointed more often than not. But my mom still likes it, so we still go. I've learned to dread the not-so-sweet 80's tunes (I think they've had the same music playing for 3 years and counting).... More

The twice baked potato I got looked and tasted like it had been under the heat lamps way too long, however, my husband's was just fine! When I complained, I was told, 'sorry, but it's really busy'. Ok that's an excuse for slow service, but not for the food quality! It's not like it's a new restaurant and they haven't... More

Wanted a nice prime rib. I chose rics instead of the keg across the street. Bad move. Reserved a table for two and was seated within 5 minutes. Waited 15 minutes for a water and ordered appies 20 min in. 50 minutes in I was informed there was no prime rib but I could get a ribeye for $10 dollars... More

My ribs were burnt, my stuffed potatoe was black and crispy on the outside and the consistancy and temerature of baby food on the inside....Lesson: GO TO THE KEG....THEY ARE WAY BETTER THAN RICS GRILL (who should change their name to $hits Grill.....way more fitting). On a posative note....the waitress returned the first petrified stuffed potatoe and happily brought out... More

The bad experience started right at the beginning. We were excited to go out and enjoy an evening of great food and drinks. To made a long review short heres the worst points of the visit. I was at Ric's Grill in Prince George recently and would like to share my experience - I went for dinner and was taken to my table - it must have been quite some time ( I was engrossed with my Kobo) that Carol Clark noticed that I had not been approached by a server - she politely asked me... More

I stay at the Treasure Cove about ever 5 wks for business and because of the convenience I keep trying to eat at Rics but honestly not once have I ever experienced anything but the worst service, slow slow slow and the food is mediocre & very over priced.
