Don't get me wrong, first off I " loved" the food...no issue there. However, I drove all the way into town to pick up my food (15 minute drive) and there were several large bags of food ready to go. The man who took my order (pretty sure he's the owner) doesn't take your name or anything so all that... More

You would not guess this plain looking little eating house would house such treasures. It is an attachment to an East Indian grocery store, yet was voted #1 East Indian Food in Prince George, BC. The buffet looked so tempting that we had to give it a try - so much to choose from. The Tandoori Chicken, Butter Chicken and... More

I have been a patron of Dana Mandi from the time I first discovered the store and when we were just ordering take-out from their store front. The restaurant is an added treasure to Prince George. I like that the location is close to the downtown, yet far enough away from the non desirable traffic of the downtown. The restaurant... More

This is the best Indian restaurant in PG for flavour and quality of food. It does not have much of an atmoshpere. We go for lunch about once a week and get take out likely once or twice a month. The food is consistenly good and tasty but the heat elementcan be a little inconsistent. Sometimes hot is just slight... More

Great Buffet selection. Food was flavourful and delicious. Pleasant hosts. If you are not that familiar with Indian food, this is a great place to start.

Food was great. It always is. The butter chicken is near perfect. The buffet is a little pricey but worth it to try a little bit of everything...especially things you wouldn't otherwise try. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend this place if you find yourself in P.G. and enjoy authentic Indian good. Like previous posts, the restaurant is underwhelming but we go for the great good and polite service.

I'm by no means an expert in Indian cuisine, but I do know good food. This was delicious. I've been to Prince George several times with work, and I can never go there without getting something from Dana Mandi. If you're looking for something safe for your first venture into Indian food try the Butter Chicken, but you can't go... More

It's a small place, well-suited for take-out, same as some other East Indian restaurants in town.. But the food is very good (if you say you want the spicyness 'hot', that's what you get) and you get alot of it. The naan bread was especially good, and definitely made-to-order. The furnace is a bit noisy, but oh well, glad it... More

Don't let the exterior of this restaurant fool you. It is completely unassuming on the outside, but the service is excellent and the food is delicious. It is always a pleasure to try a favorite cuisine in a new area and find out that it is fantastic. We ordered chicken vindaloo, saag paneer, and an eggplant dish. All were very... More
