This is a hidden gem. I found it searching the web as a place that locals go for sandwiches. It really is more of a deli counter.. but the prices are great and the sandwiches are delicious. Prepare for a bit of line up - but worth the wait!

Finally tried this 'local legend' Italian deli down the street. A very well stocked Italian mini-market, that also sells made-to-order sandwiches and lattes and such. Seating for half a dozen, by the front window, most clients get their sandwiches to go. You know what made this simple sandwich COME ALIVE? The included 'pickle' wasn't just a few dill pickles, it... Want the best deli sandwich in town? Go here, fast service, a little cramped for space (take out a must as there are only 2 seats available), authentic German / Dutch grocery items. Overall pretty good place to have an on the go or take home luncheon sandwich.

Okay, been here in the past as well as lately, several times in fact. Yes, it is good and efficient for a quick lunch or bite but the Number #1 Eatery in Penticton??? Seriously! Beats missing lunch and for a Deli it is very good ... other than that it does not compare as a Restaurant; rated in a restaurant... More

Best and most affordable sandwiches/bunwiches in the city with a superb deli counter offering specialty cheeses and meats. Val (the owner) knows her customers and welcomes you back each time you stop in. She also (incredibly) knows what most of her regulars like in their sandwich (not an easy feat, given the hundreds of customers who come through there any... More

My partner and I decided to try the 'top-rated' tripadvisor restaurant of Penticton. Well, it's not really a restaurant, but a deli. You stand in this long (but fast) line amidst canned and packaged deli produce, then, after letting the woman at the counter know you want a sandwich, she asks "hot or sweet mustard". Not what kind of bread,... More

Excellent soup and sandwich deals. Very reasonably priced. A local favourite hot spot. Just remember to take cash, because there is no debit machine.
