Theo's is a family run Greek restaurant which opened in 1976. We use fresh produce from our garden when available and work with our local farmers and suppliers in the Okanagan valley to provide a menu which is both rooted in Greek village cooking and inspired by Okanagan ingredients.

Annual visit to Penticton via motorcycle.

Theo's is a Greek dining experience, the food is authentic and very tasty. The atmosphere is very good, the outdoor portion, in which I sat, was covered over in grape vines that were bearing grapes. (You could reach up and grab a few and they were just ripened. The staff went out of their way to... read more

This was out first visit to Theo's and we were quite impressed with the ambiance. It is a large restaurant but manages to still have an intimate feel. Our food was pretty good but not outstanding. For appies, the saganaki cheese was delicious while the kalamari was not great. My chicken souvlaki was tasty except the rice was a bit... More

We really enjoyed our meal at Theos. I am a vegetarian and found several items on the menu. I chose two appetizers, spanakopita and a warm beet salad. Both were delicious and very filling. My husband had a New York steak. He enjoyed it as well. To start your meal, bread and an amazing sundried tomato and olive oil dip... More

We really enjoyed our meal, fairly authentic Greek food. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were great. Would eat here again, recommend for family, or a date night out.

Came up from Kelowna for the romeo and Julie table. Got sat right away and had great service. We had reservations of course. The atmosphere was excellent and we took home more food than we ate. The sea food platter for 2 would have been fine without the appy but we didn't know. And the giant oysters are available a... More

We went to Theo's for take out after touring around with our pups for the day! Ordered Salmon sto phyllo and lamb souvlaki with a side of pita bread and tzatziki. Everything was hot and fresh and fabulous. The bread was fresh and the tzatziki was the best we have every tasted. Next time we will come back without the... More

Placed in nice spot for two and was a very well attentive experience. Enjoyed a not so loud place. Nice eclectic finishings.

Our party of 5 had dinner at Theo's. We showed up on a Wednesday at around 5pm without reservations. The place was really busy by 6pm. Our table, located by the bar, consisted of 3 round tables moved together. The chairs were old, uncomfortable and had not been cleaned recently. Appetizers included houmous and avgolemono soup. Meals included Theo's signature... More

We love Greek food and Theo's did not disappoint. It's worth making a reservation in advance. We called earlier that day and were able to get a reservation for that evening for 5. When we arrived there was a small lineup for a table so it was handy not to have to wait! Very cute inside and nicely decorated. Then... More

This is a delightful restaurant which is heavily patronized by locals; always a great indicator of a good place to eat and relax. Operated by a family with deep Greek roots and a friendly helpful staff. The food is authentic, tasty and of ample portions. Come early and enjoy a wonderful experience.
