I've been coming to Lee's for ever and never had a bad experience. I've tried other sushi places in town but I can't find a better quality or price. From the miso sup to the dynamite roll, everything is fresh and tasty. I have to point out that the service is friendly but they don't over do it. Also the... More

Great place. Excellent fusion rolls and sashimi. Big on the fish. Easy on the rice. Wild salmon only, exactly what one would expect from a restaurant in BC yet seldom finds. Comparable to many of the sushi restaurants in Vancouver. Good cooked items as well. If you like spicy you can't beat the spicy beef noodle. Staff has always been... More

It's nothing fancy but the salad rolls are excellent & the Won Ton soup is good too. They have Chinese or Japanese or Thai food.If Jimmy's Restaurant is closed I go there & pick up food to go. It's still better then the bigger restaurants on Main street which I can't stand..the girl at the register could smile once in awhile... More

Had the daily noodles special and Tom Kha Kai soup. The food was tasty. The vegetables was very fresh. This an open kitchen restaurant and you can see the whole cooking line. The kitchen was very clean. This is the cleanest restaurant I have ever seen. It is run by a husband and wife team. Good job.

Lee's is just... strange. From the name, which does not have restaurant anywhere within it, to the big window signs advertising Oriental groceries (!!!) it's a fairly weird place. When it comes to the food, it's just as bizarre. The first warning should have come when I was informed that the Pad Thai was a homemade sauce. Yes, there was... More

Tried the place on a recommendation. As my review heading states, this place would be average anywhere else, but in Penticton it stands above the others. The rolls were pretty average, although I must say that the fish and tobiko actually had some flavour which came as a pleasant surprise after my other local sushi experiences. My friend had a... Not exactly "pan-asian" as you might expect from reading previous reviews. This is basically a very casual sushi restaurant with a scant couple of chinese offerings, and a very tiny (2 items!) selection of frozen dimsum. And as a sushi places, goes, rather mediocre - you will do much MUCH better in the Sushi Genki just a few blocks to... More
