I didn't stay for long, I rushed in and asked whether it was possible to get it to go. They nodded and we went ahead with the menu, selecting whatever looked neat or different. The Volcano Roll in particular was very nice, and I loved the deep-fried California roll, what a treat. Nothing incredible, but good sushi no less. I... More

The atmosphere is fantastic and the staff are VERY friendly, everyone greeted us even the chef and everyone said good-bye as well. Very authentic feeling decor and the food is presented quickly, professionally and looks amazing; not to mention that the crab is actually REAL! Amazing truly, if you're in Penticton and are looking for sushi, DEFINITELY give them a... More

Today was my second time at Ginza and it confirmed that this is definitely a go to place for sushi in Penticton. It was very busy for a Thursday evening and I was seated upstairs. Service was a bit slow as they were so busy, but the staff was working very hard and were very friendly. I ordered gomae, a... More

I've been to Ginza many times with my family and we go back whenever the mood for Japanese food strikes. There is quite a bit of selection and their rolls are very good. This is my go-to place for Japanese food in the Okanagan. The staff is friendly. I've never been disappointed eating here.

This is my go to for Japanese cuisine in town. It's never let me down. Great decor and friendly passionate staff. The sushi and wonton soup are excellent. Highly recommended. Great place to take a date or with friends!

Went for lunch and really enjoyed the bento boxes. The food was hot and really good - nice use of spices. Friendly staff - nice decor in an old house just off main street.

We are basically chicken when it comes to trying new restaurants. Too many disappointing meals, so we tend to stay with what we know. While enjoying Penticton's Saturday farmers market, we happened to walk by the Ginza location. Being hungry, we decided to be adventuresome for a change and give it a try. Were we impressed!! Neat atmosphere in a... More

Did lunch over the weekend at Ginza. I love the building they are in... it used to be the Dream Cafe back in the day. Unfortunately the folks from Ginza haven't done much with it. It looks cluttered and not well taken care of. The food was ok, though pretty average. Nothing really stood out. It was just ok. Perhaps... More

We'd heard good things about this place but we must've caught them on a bad day because everything we ordered was greasy. Didn't enjoy it at all and probably won't go back.

Very generous servings. We were a group of five and everyone left full and smiling without an empty wallet. It was such a treat to have a delightfully creative menu of rolls, nigiri, sashimi and japanese stirfry. The green tea was particularly delicious, the large plate of sashimi was incredible- the tuna melted in my mouth and the bed of... More
