A unique boutique restaurant located on the most bohemian street in Penticton. Lovely old wood and textures and not pretentious what so ever. With a flair for spices and soups and and a taste that goes zing. Have a nice glass of organic wine and order the wraps and the the spicy soup. Gluten, ovo/lactose free as well. You don't... More

Great sandwiches, noodles and salads. They have sidewalk tables but the street can be a little busy. They do take out though so you can grab something and enjoy it at a park or at the beach.

Found the Wild Scallion one Sunday when the Sagebrush Café was closing and we asked for another healthy place. We were told the Wild Scallion is excellent but expensive. Actually, for the quality, it is not that expensive! Visited twice, in August and in September, and both times could site outside in the street. Very pleasant. Food great, anything on... More

My wife and I have eaten here numerous times being close to my wifes work, what the restaurant lacks in decor, seating and comfort is made up for by quality food and preparation. Service is not always the best with servers being just that servers not waiters or waitresses, that professionalism is extremely lacking. Dont expect any followup to your... More

In the culinary blandness of the Okanagan, Wild Scallion is a huge breath of fresh air, offering incredibly tasty, healthy and clean Asian fusion vegan food at affordable prices ... a fantastic addition to Penticton's restaurant scene!

Just happened upon this restaurant while doing some shopping in Penticton. The young staff work very hard to present freshly prepared food. The place is a bit hodge-podge (different levels, a fish tank that needed a water change). However, the pleasant smell of curry cooking as you enter the restaurant sets you up for some very tasty selections. The ginger... More

I have a gluten sensitivity, and finding food while traveling is always a challenge. A local gave me a tip about this place, so we decided to check it out. We were not disappointed! The purveyor clearly is very passionate about the food he serves, and speaks with great pride and knowledge. I has the tomato zucchini soup to start,... More

We had two vegetable curries with rice and cabbage salad. The curries were nicely spiced (probably medium), so we could taste the lentils, yams and potatoes. Pleasant indoor seating. It looks like a place that should do a good take-away business, but it was quiet during the Saturday Market.

Hong is a master, he is a visionary kitchen artist. The food he cook is over the human understanding.

We were walking around looking for an easy dinner and found their busy front patio. We sat inside and had the teriyaki chicken, a curry dish and spring rolls. All was fresh and delicious! The waiter also brought us some cinnamon infused water to sample. I would go back!
