No one should miss having breakfast, lunch or dinner, especially at The Bench Artisan Food Market. They take great care in preparing the meal & you know everything is from Farm to Table and very fresh. I would eat here every day if I lived close enough. Great atmosphere, wonderful people.

This is the best place in Penticton for a leisurely weekend brunch after a morning walk or run on the Kettle Valley Railway trail. (just up the hill, starting from Vancouver Place). It's popular with locals, who bring their out-of-town guests here, too. The food is fresh and homemade, the service is fast and friendly, and the coffee is fantastic.

So happy a friend told me to check out The Bench. They have excellent coffee.. Their muffins are amazing, their bacon and egg sandwich is excellent. Have been a few times now for lunch. Their soups are excellent as are their sandwiches. A must try in Penticton

This casual cafe was a perfect spot to meet up with an old friend and not feel rushed to eat and leave. The food was tasty. I forgot how neon organic free range eggs are! The tea selection was also very good. I have already recommended this place to friends.

Who would have thought there would be such a good find while driving up Vancouver Ave? It's one of those hidden gems that you want to revisit every day. The food was very fresh & the coffee was exceptional. Awesome that you could also purchase fresh local fares here as well. The only downside....they need more seating! It's too bad... More

Used to stop in at the Bench, when it was a corner store, for ice cream. Now it's an awesome artisan food shop. Yeah! Started off with a Canadiano. An American coffee that's nicer and more polite. Loved that joke when the staff told me that. Had the breakfast with boiled egg, cheese, bacon and bread. Just the right amount... More

We were travelling through Penticton and after asking some locals about good places to get breakfast, we found this gem of a restaurant. Delicious food, I had the Benny. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our kids. Very friendly service. A bit pricey, but it's what you can expect for a local little place like this. It... More

Great food, I had the Bennie. Superb service...even when very busy. Lots of friendly locals and just an all around gem. If it were in Vancouver I would be there all the time.

It is tucked away on the back road to Naramata Bench and its more than 25 wineries. We like to pick up a pinyin lunch to eat on one of the many patios at the wineries. Atmosphere is urban, quality, nutritious, natural. It sounds simple but the egg salad sandwich had some spices that were hard to identify but worked... More
