Worth the extra

The bench is set a little a part from downtown. It is set a little a part in cost. The quality meets this theme of being just a little higher. If you want quality and flavor this is a wonderful find.

Everyone liked the food we ordered. It looked underwhelming but tasted great. The portion size was pretty small for the price. Very little value.

Great breakfast and lunch sandwiches and wraps, great coffee and tea, fun gifts and food items. Not inexpensive, but worth it.

Great selection of baked goodies, sandwiches, etc. but the eggs Benedict are awesome. Cafe lattes are rich and creamy.

A friend and I stopped for brunch last weekend. The service was excellent, everyone was friendly and the menu selection was excellent something for everyone. I had the eggs Benny and they were scrumptious my friend had soup and a sandwich age was thrilled with their gluten free options. The cafe itself is cozy and welcoming although parking was a... We were told this was a good place for food. It is self serve but if you are into nutritious, organic, delicious food do not miss "The Bench". I ordered Mac and cheese. It was just excellent using locally made cheese and organic macaroni. The price was more than reasonable. The coffee and tea was also good. My wife had... More

The Bench was a awesome slightly out of the way cafe that both my wife and I loved. Coffee and breakfast were great. Tried it for bunch as well and found the items we ordered were excellent. Prices were a little high but overall an excellent find in Penticton.

We stopped here in the afternoon after visiting several wineries in Naramata. We didn't want a heavy meal, but were hungry for a late lunch. After viewing the menu selections, we both chose a bowl of butternut squash soup, served with a slice of bread. The soup was velvety in texture and delicious, the perfect way to usher in Fall... Stopped in with some friends for lunch one day. I had the half sandwich and soup. The soup was very tasty and the sandwich was very nice as well. Good home cooking here. I would definitely go back again.
