The Bench Market is set at the entrance to the much-travelled Naramata Bench winery route. The Bench offers daily light breakfast, weekend brunch, baked goods, gourmet lunch, takeaway meals, catering, and grocery - along with the best coffee in town, made using locally-roasted organic beans from Backyard Beans in Summerland. The healthy menu items are made from scratch using fresh, local ingredients. All meats and eggs are from BC-raised, ethically treated animals. And the shelves are stocked with a wide variety of unique, artisan grocery items. Stop by and see how we're "keeping it local and making it fresh!"

Quaint little restaurant with great food.

We stop by this cozy cafe every time we go by it. It has many choices that make it hard to pick out a meal. It is a serve yourself cafe with lots of choices for lunch and afternoon tea or coffee. Gluten free is not a problem, so I love to stop and try new products. Try it and... read more

Had a really great lunch. They offered gluten free options that were fantastic and such fresh ingredients. This is a great place for lunch.

I love their salads and the devilled egg sandwich is the best around! Their baked goods are so yummy, and fresh, especially the scones. All healthy and delicious food. The only problem is it's too busy! There is always a line up and it's so small. I guess that's a good thing.

While in Penticton to visit a quilt show, we stopped here for lunch. Great decision. We shared a chicken panini and two side salads. On a beautiful day we sat outside. What a pleasant way to spend the noon hour. Food is ordered at a display case, then paid for at the cashier. The server brought our food to us.... More

Enjoy your morning coffee and/or a eggs beny after a hard party night at "The Bench" with lots of locally baked products. Can be busy at some point and that is a good sign. Constant quality throughout the year. Friendly staff.

Passing through Penticton on our way to Kelowna, we stopped for lunch and we're pleasantly surprised by the food and atmosphere. We would come again.

Great food and coffee but the breakfast is limited to Benny's and such-they do not offer a full breakfast! However the breakfast bun was just fine. There are no croissants though if you are expecting that. We came based on the reviews but should have checked the menu closer before arriving hungry for easy over etc

Went to the Bench a couple of times last week during "brunch" time with friends. Never been before and was looking for a better coffee and breakfast than my hotel offered. First of all the coffee at Bench is really good. Had their brewed coffee and an Americano. Both excellent. I ended up having the breakfast burrito with chorizo twice... More

Locally recommended to us as the best place to grab a lunch yesterday, our dining experience at The Bench was outstanding. The home-smoked pastrami was melt in the mouth, the sides delicious, the staff friendly and knowledgeable, the coffee delicious, we will be back..
