This is our "We Did It!" for friends, family and everyone who supported our Challenge Athletes Go-To Monday Night Celebration spot over the last 5 years. We keep going back, and Hillside keeps up with our eclectic group... foodies, wine geeks, wine snobs and wine lovers... never disappointed. By the fireplace, or outside, our large group (one large, long table,... More

Always love the Hillside Estate bistro even in October when sitting inside is necessary. Good hardy food choices for lunch included burgers, sandwiches and homemade soups. Great bottle of Hillside Pinot Noir topped out the meal. Good service, beautiful setting by the fireplace in the restaurant. It is an event to come to Hillside but be prepared as the bistro... More

It was a cool, windy October day and we found the ambiance at this quaint winery bistro to be very inviting. We especially appreciated the warmth of the fireplace! It more than made up for the fact there is no view from the dining room. We found the wine pairings recommended by the winery were perfect matches for our choices... More

We stopped just because it was late and they were open. It turned out to be my favourite of the trip! We samples all the wines and the rose was the best. Try the Bistro and enjoy this wonderful winery.

We had tasted the Hillside wines earlier in the day and were quite impressed, so we decided to have dinner there and sample some more wine. The setting was very pleasant and the food, accompanied by a Hillside Gamay, was very tasty and reasonably priced. We were very happy with the service and the meal.

this is the second time we have had lunch at this Bistro. Last year we had a memorable lunch so decided to return with a family visitor from England. The meal was once again excellent. Our visitor was very impressed with the selection and quality of the food and excellent service.

We stopped here for a late lunch yesterday and were greeted with a beautiful location and great customer service. The menu looked appetizing and we appreciated the wine pairings for each meal. We ordered the salad, which was delicious but our main courses were very bland and little underwhelming. I ordered the parsnip and beet risotto and my husband ordered... More

First of all the wines were superb, exactly what you would expect from the labels. The soup was also really good, very hot, nice and spicy and didn’t need either salt or pepper. From there on in - not so good. The gilled chicken ciabatta was "sloppy," not what I expected at all. Too many ingredients and none of them... More
