Joined friends for dinner, Our third solid experience over 2 to 3 years. Excellent server, great 'house' wines by selection and quality. Outdoor dining venues are great.

We enjoyed a delicious meal recently at this charming winery on the very picturesque Naramata Bench. We ordered the mussels and the duck and were very happy with them. Our Gewurztramner wine was crisp and light and just right to accompany our meal. Our server was attentive and very pleasant and friendly. After lunch, we sat out in the lovely... More

We've been to the Hillside Bistro a few times, some good and some not so good. On our last visit a live band was playing so loudly that there was absolutely no possibility of conversation so we left after a glass of wine. We recently had a visitor from Oregon and decided to give it another try. It was a... More

Lovely location in Naramata in the beautiful Okanagan Valley with a rooftop restaurant overlooking the lake. Wines were excellent however did not have positive experience in the restaurant. Restaurant was not very busy and had many servers wandering around but service was very poor. Took a long time to be greeted and take order, at least 45 minutes for meal... More

Had dinner for four here. 3 of the four appy's were a hit. We loved the mussels and the carrot soup, but the elk sausage was fatty and not cooked properly (our friend that ordered it is a hunter so he was disappointed). Our entrees were very good. The chicken pasta bowl was a pinch under-seasoned but otherwise very nice. One... More

We were at the bistro for dinner. There was a band playing. Most of the guests knew either the band member or the staff. It was a warm atmosphere like with friends. As starter we had mussels and salad with goat cheese accompanied with two glasses of Gewürztramner and rose. The canadiens would say: awesome. As main dish we had... More

Located about 5 minutes northeast of Penticton on the high side of Naramata Rd, this is a beautiful large wooden structure that has a wine shop and a bistro. I had lunch in the Bistro recently with three friends. We sat inside and found the setting nice(there is an exterior patio as well and an upstairs(was not open)). It was... More

We eat here about once per year on our vacation. Lunch was pulled pork with a homemade creamy coleslaw on top, served on a bun. We had a flight of wines. The server said that since they weren't too busy we could pick our 3 wines. The pork did not have the heavy BBQ sauce so the flavour of the... More

Stopped here for lunch on a Naramata Bench winery tour organized by Top Cat Tours. Lunch was part of the tour (including tip, excluding drinks - winery wine only offerings). Fixed menu offerings only (menu for non tour guests). Ordered the mussels which were OK quantity wise in a spicy cocoanut and tomato broth. Mussels were overcooked. The Tartine sandwich... More

we were is such a good mood to taste and buy but once we were blasted with the loud music, we only poked our noses through the door and made a u-turn! many other wineries to visit! music to fit the ambiance of a winery/wine region would be preferred - you have something good in the Naramata Bench region -...
