Saw the 'best in town' sign and stopped. I was underimpressed. The food was mediocre at best, it was difficult to get a glass of water. It was inexpensive, and the variety sufficient, but it was not fresh or flavourful and a bit stale and greasy. I would not go back.

I'm not a fan of buffets at the best of times but given friends were eager to give it a go at the Penticton Buffet, we went along with them. All of the dishes we tried save for the ginger beef were quite acceptable and in the case of the seafood, prawns especially, all of it was well prepared and... More

Save your money and your stomach. The worst food I have aver had!!! The only thing good was the ice cream they brought in. Over cooked, soaked in oil, or stale was what we had to choose from on a Saturday night. :(

Lured in by the promise that it had been 'voted best in town', I was surprised to see that the decor was rather dated and that the only people eating there were a few pensioners. As it's a cheap deal for them, hence the patronage, I could only begin to wonder who these voters were. I soon came to the... More

Nice clean place with lots of selection. Mostly Chinese food but a few other items like turkey, mashed potatoes and onion rings. A little limited on desserts. All the items looked fresh. Good service.

I've eaten crapy Chinese food this place in my bottom 3. We were worried reading there boast of being voted the best well if this true then this place suffers. Avoid....

We had not eaten there since last fall, because the food seemed to be getting nastier the last few times. We just broke down and decided to try it again, and were pleasantly surprised at the changes to the dishes. Almost everything, including the deserts seemed to look and taste better than under previous management. In fact, when we first... More

We were in a panic for a quick meal after our son's hockey practice. We did not get in until a bit after 7, and the place was almost empty. Most of the food was dried out. Sauces all had skins... I could not find enough I was willing to eat. I had one plate, my wife stuck to salads...... More
