We go every summer. Everyone likes the build your own burger. Some people claim its expensive. Burgers shakes and rings for four was around $70, which is up there but better than a $24 downtown Calgary restaurant burger and 10x better than a fast food restaurant.

Prompted by the Food Network show....You Gotta Eat Here", we decided to stop by and we were not disappointed. If you like Fatburger, than you will love this place. Awesome burgers with homemade fries...both personally tailored by you. I must stop while in Penticton.

Been other years but quality seems to be gone. Group of 6 of us all disappointed. Burgers over cooked Fry's were not great. Onion rings soggy. Will not be going back.

The coolness of this place is its unique location, and up-to-date dining area, which is pretty hip, as far as Penticton eating establishments go. I was glad to see that they have finally added a gluten-free bun to the menu. The burgers were OK-- not the flavour explosion I was expecting. They have an awesome variety of unique slats and... I wasn't impressed. They messed up our burgers, served soggy onion rings & ice cold gravy. Brought the gravy back and got told there was nothing they could do about it. The burgers are nothing special. It cost 2 of us $40 to eat. There are way better options for half the price.

A very unique experience... Huge portions, freshly prepared food (order and pick up yourself), incredible choices, and a fun atmosphere. Loved the burgers and onion rings! The patio is comprised of picnic tables in the parking lot but it manages to add to the wacky charm of this place.

This was our first visit to Burger 55. The burger patties are made by hand, and cooked fresh to order. There's a large variety of items to top your burger with. Their menu is available on their website, and I recommend checking it our prior to visiting if possible so that you have an idea what you want. All in... More

I have now had two burgers at Burger 55. The first was a "burger of the day", and the most recent was one of their "Classic Freestyle" burgers. The burger alone is a meal and you don't need fries unless you're really hungry or have someone to help you with them! The burgers were made perfectly - on the grill... More

My daughter recently moved to Kelowna and we planned a dinner out because of the recommendations she had had for Burger 55. We arrived early so as not to have to wait in line. We sat down and proceeded to figure out what we wanted to eat. I wanted a burger wrapped in lettuce so went up and asked. The... More

The Burger 55 garage is unique for the area. I like the clean lines and the industrial touches. I would recommend hiring a brand ambassador to greet guests, explain the ordering process (particularly for foreign guests, several of whom we explained the process to), and push specials. If something had been recommended, we would have tried it, instead we ordered... More
