It has the feel of an old time drive-in burger place, with seating outdoors and in.I don't really care for the line up to order thing, and that is my only negative. This place is in a new location, just behind it's old, smaller building, and I guess they really needed a seating area. They put out real good sides,and... More

Interesting burger place – build your own burger to order with a checklist-style menu. My bacon cheese burger was pretty good. We got a seat on the sunny patio. All in all it was a chill, relaxed lunch.

burger was really good, and finally a place where you get to choose your toppings, and not have a lot of unwanted extras added. Good portion of fries, well done and seasoned just right. Overall a very good experience.

Great burger! Interesting atmosphere. Build your own burger off their extensive list of toppings. Nice little outdoor patio.

Finally decided to try Burger 55 today, and we were very disappointed. My burger was bland and missing the pickles and the drunk caramelized onions I paid $1.55 for. It was more bun than anything else, and my nephew felt the same about his. He was missing the pickles on his as well. My fries were clearly the last in... More

We were back in Penticton and visited this past weekend. I want to preface this review with the fact that we are terrible at raising food issues with the staff at the time. Our burger patties were dry and over cooked and the burgers were very salty. The fries were also very salty. Maybe no salt or low salt would... More

had gluten free bun with bison. Burger was very dry and didn't have much sauce on it. Bun was dry. The bison patty was tasty though.

Heard great things about the place, went while traveling through Penticton and would say average at best. Burger was dry and they were out of there house burger 55 bun and it wasn't busy and just the beginning of lunch. Not overally impressed not a must stop at if passing through again.

Chris and his team had been slaving away for a few years in that shoebox sized building, steaming hot in the summer, mildly comfortable (due to the big, hot grill) in the winter, that gained them a reputation of great, who-thought-of-putting-this-in-a-burger burger joint and stellar service. Sure you had to wait. But you knew that what you were going to... More
