Beautiful view. Great food and Rude waitress!

Ordered food from the beach area because I know they havve good food and kids can't be in the restaurants due to licensing. First waitress that grabbed our food to go was fine, but the second was just horrible. She was rude and her facial expressions were shocking! Waitresses standing at the table... read more

So it took 15 minutes to get water to the table of 8. Then another 15 minutes to get first round of drinks. We all ordered our appetizers, now its been 45 minutes and still no food. They just introduced a new menu. Out of which they dont carry 4 or 5 items. You would think they will tell us... More

I would never go back to the Parrot again after our experience tonight. Multiple items on their "new menu" they did not have, then when items were found to substitute they came back and said can't get those because the pizza oven is down. We specifically asked if there are other items on the menu that are not available and... More

Had appies on the patio. Hard to not be really happy here. Service was very good, even though out server was new, she was sweet as pie. We ordered a burger ,salad and a sandwich and drinks and everything was excellent. Especially the french onion soup. Prices were really good. How can you not love being so close to the... More

Good view of the lake, big screens for watching NHL playoffs and cold beer. If you want to eat, go to the Hooded Merganser. I had wings which tasted like rubber, and the ranch dip was more of a Jello than a dip. The spinach dip was actually pretty good, but you can get the same one at the casinos... More

Stopped here for lunch and was one of the few in the restaurant as it just opened. Ordered the spicy thai noodle bowl. It was really great and fresh. This is a recommend to order. Service was a bit slow even though there were so few people in the place but the lunch definitely made up for it. I would... More

And the staff is A1. Quick friendly service and the prices are very good for the quality and amount of food you get!

I had a bunch of friends come from kamloops and I am totally embarrassed by this place. The service was horrible the bouncers were on a power trip and kicked out 2 of my friends even when they were quiet. I seen the oversized asian bounce with the bald head purposely spill a drink on a girl while we were... More

It's always a treat to go to the Barking Parrot in Penticton for lunch. They have good food, good service and the osprey nest outside has been taken over by a goose for the 2nd year and there are goslings in the nest.

We have been to this restaurant before during summer months and it didn't seem to be too bad but this last visit was really terrible. We waited at least a half hour for simple meals (4 of us)and the food was really bad. Frozen fries thrown on a plate. I ordered the spicy chicken burger and got a preciously frozen... More
