Lovely setting

My daughter took me here for a treat on our Girls Getaway. The views are lovely and it was a pleasant evening with a breeze coming in the doors. We had the calamari appetizer and we're disappointed that it was large oblong chunks rather than the crispy rings we were expecting. It was OK but I... read more

We booked into the Hooded Merganser on the last night of our stay and were delighted to get a nice booth with a great view of the lake. Our server was very attentive. My husband had the honey garlic ribs and I had the short ribs - both were good. We shared the cheese cake for dessert - yummy! This... More

Went for dinner with no reservations on a busy Saturday night, and they sat us in the lounge which was excellent (though they said they were full, half the tables in the dinning room were empty the whole time we were there, but whatever). Fantastic Caesar salad, lightly dressed, and maybe the best BC salmon I've ever had. It was... More

The hotel we were staying at recommended this restaurant and I honestly do not know why. Food was really bad. My husband and I each had an appetizer and a meal and we did not like any part of the meal...really disappointing. I hate to write this type of review but perhaps this will help others... And hopefully the restaurant... More

Boy.... I know this review is contrary to some others and you are going to be scratching Your head trying to figure this one out. We both thought the calamari was purchased from the frozen food section and heated up for serving. The other appetizer was sushi/ avocado .... Normally a dish we both love.... Could not finish....just bad. Oh... More

Beautiful restaurant with an awesome view of the lake. The food was exquisite. Mouth watering just to think of it. The service was outstanding, and the staff treated all guests perfectly. Loved everything: ambience, view, food and service.

We visited here on our penultimate night in Penticton and I am very glad we tried the restaurant out. You have to walk through the hotel entrance and back out again to get there as it is based over the lake itself. If you get there early enough you can get seats outside where you can truly enjoy the views... More

We were attending the Elvis Festival in the park next door so it was a convenient spot for lunch. You can't beat the atmosphere or the lake view. The food is as good as the surroundings, the service very good even though they were very busy. I'd say the place is very versatile, good for a quick bite or fine... More

This is a modern-chic restaurant with a gorgeous view on the lake. The menu is very nice..from the seafood to the meat. We ate the salmon and the pan-seared tuna. Both tasted very very good..the tuna was simply awesome. Moreover the dishes came with fresh vegetables and roasted potatoes/rice. Also the dessert were very yummy..both the peach and apple crumble... More

Love the location on the lake more than anything. I love their food especially their breakfast but not the Sunday brunch....I would to there again and again just to sit, eat and watch the view. And the staff are great..
