Great Chinese food but not great if you are vegetarian. After going veg, I came in asking about vegetarian options and she told me they had a vegetarian chow mein, so I ordered and when it got to the table it definitely wasn't vegetarian, it had a sauce with a chicken stock base! So I no longer go there. However,... More

We take out weekly from this location even though it's a 20 min drive to another town over a bridge! Maybe not the politest but we are there for their food so does not bother us. We call our order in - always ready when they say it will be. Reasonable prices although they could make the sweet and sour... More

Quite surprised to stumble across a Hon's in New West one day so we decided to give it a try. Food is reasonable and cheap. Restaurant was fairly busy with free parking.

I do not know who that previous person was who claimed to give a review. I have been to your restaurant many, many times with my friends, and we feel that we just have to say "NAY" to the above review. Pls excuse me (get a toilet) I would and like my friends are attempting to erase such a negative... More

I think Hon's locations are known for their fresh made pot stickers. Great lettuce wraps. I've never been disappointed by a meal here. Not a lot of atmosphere so generally you get in, order, eat & get going. But that's what we go for. And, apparently, so do a lot of others as almost always busy often with a bit... More

The pot stickers and hot and sour soup are all time favorite dishes. I particularly like the minced pork and eggplant hot pot (which is not on the menu). Service is fast, most people eat quickly and leave. Take away available (and order by phone).

I have been wanting to try this place for years now. Whenever we drive by there has always been so many people eating here, so it must be good food? This is what I've been telling myself for a long time now. This week we tried it and we will probbably won't be ordering food from here again. The first... More

This place was recommended so I thought I'd try it for take out. I ordered 4 dishes, deep fried squid, house chow mein, buddhist feast vegetables deep fried rock cod with vegetables. The house chow mein was flavorless, the buddhist feast vegetables were tasteless and the deep fried cod wasn't deep fried! The cod appeared to be steamed (no deep... More

We always have group lunches or early family dinners here because of their good food and quick service. Do not expect a candlelit dinner or a fancy set of cutlery as this is a typical chinese restaurant where everything moves fast but you get tasty, delicious food a few minutes after you order. This time we had cod fillet in... More
