Cockney Kings is a very good restaurant. The fish was fresh and prepared well, the service was excellent. Good value for your money as well. Highly recommended.

when you want the best this is the place where you want to go!! we usually have the halibut and chips. the batter is great and the coleslaw and fires make a great compliment. I have been told of other places but none come close. once you have been here you have found the best and all others will not... More

In a word, perfect. We all traded bites, so I got to try the oysters, shrimp, cod, and haddock at the same meal. Everything was perfectly cooked and moist. I was impressed that they used a bit lighter batter on the delicate oysters. Also tried the mushy peas and if you like a french-canadian pea soup - which I do... More

This is a great little restaurant that serves really good fish & chips, onion rings and much more. The batter is light and fresh and everything is hot when it arrives at your table or even when you have an order to pick it up. The service is very good and the people are friendly. This place is always buzzing... More

I had a combo dinner- wild salmon and haddock. Came with coleslaw (loved it) and dinner roll (fresh with butter). I started with chips and it was crunchy and tasty. Next, I had the salmon, my first time to have it for fish n chips; it was cooked perfectly but was not a personal favorite. However, the haddock was fresh,... More

This place sets the standard for fish and chips....and it sets the bar high. It is small and busy, with casual comfortable atmosphere. offering take out as well. Nice variety on the menu, we had halibut and chips. Service was very quick and friendly. Food came almost right away. Very nicely cooked, not oily or soggy at all. Batter was... More

Our favourite place to go for fish & chips. Service is friendly and fast. Portions are large and delicious. The batter is excellent but if you'd rather have unbattered fish they do a great job of cooking it that way as well. Love the coleslaw and the mushy peas. Very good value for the money. Expect a line up if... More

My husband and I found this fish and chips place over 15 years ago when the restaurant was kind of a dive...old school. But its the fish that keeps us coming back year after year. They have since upgraded the restaurant which looks great but the fish recipe is the same. There are usually a line up so be warned.

This has always been our family's favourite place to gather. Our family drives in from Langley to eat here everytime they want fish and chips. They have tried their other location on Hastings street but this is by far the best! Your glass is never empty and your plates always full. Everyone working there is great and always smiling. LOVE... Yesterday I went with a friend to Cockney Kings Fish and Chips. I am generally not a fan of fish and chips – it’s usually too greasy. But yesterday I was in the mood to try that restaurant since it is close to my place, and I was not in the mood to cook. So we went there. It was... More
