With a very wide variety of schnitzels -- including a cordon blue! -- delectable spatzel, and some of the thickest, tastiest bratwursts you've ever seen outside of the Fatherland, you shouldn't miss this almost solitary taste of Germany. The staff is efficient, funny, and pleasant, and the wine list is excellently selected to complement the offerings. Gross Gott!

I love this place. Growing up in a German family, you just gotta love the staples of meat, potatoes and cabbage. I LOVE their meat, potatoes AND cabbage (go figure). Every time we go everything is seasoned so and cooked properly, everything is hot from the kitchen. We're always sat promptly, I have NEVER had to wait. I love their... More

Took my son, sister and brother in law. Brother in law not versed with German food but enjoyed the triolet schnitzel. Large servings. My son the had the spatzle and he is picky. Had the rouladen with red cabbage spatzle. Very good. Sister had a schnitzel and it was almost too much to finish. Beautiful building blocks off Columbia. Chocolate... More

4 of us went for dinner - one had chicken, 2 had schnitzel and I had the vegetarian schnitzel - we had wine, beer and appys too - it was reasonably priced, served hot and accurately and the food was delicious. We were lucky to be taken upstairs where it was cool, not crowded and we could talk to our... More

I've been going to this place since Wolfgang opened it back in the 1970s and I have never ever been disappointed in the food or service. Went again this past Friday and my friends were there for the first time and loved it. The food is plenty and the price is appropriate. The server knew his stuff and was good... More

If you are looking for Schnitzel, then look no further. There must have been about 15-20 different varieties on the menu. The food was good (not great) but it was a large portion and we did not go home hungry. Service was a little slow as our waitress seemed a little bit stretched thin at times. It took at least... We had a 6:30 p.m. reservation then got stuck in heavy traffic due to an accident, I called to tell them we would be late. They were very cordial and said don't worry we will have your table ready for you. We were about fifteen minutes late. Both dining areas were pretty full. We were seated and treated very nice.... You won't be disappointed here. The food is reliably excellent. The staff are charming and accommodating. Have eaten here with visitors to the area, with work colleagues, and with family. Have never left hungry or disappointed.

Think of your classic German restaurant, with the schnitzel and the brats and the wooden shields on the wall, etc. etc. This is it. This is one of (I think) only two restaurants in New West that have tablecloths, even if these are covered by a glass top. The decor is comfortable and traditional. You know what's on the menu....
