Right at the hotel - so easy to get to. Right on the water - great view. Food and service were both very good.

Over the years I have eaten here often and the service always disappoints. The food is okay, with a strong focus on seafood. Prices for lunch are $15 to $20 for an entree. There are a few options for non seafood eaters, but not many given the restaurants focus. Steak sandwich is good as is the cheese omelette. The location... More

My wife and I were among a celebratory party of six at the New West Boathouse. The two of us ordered halibut off the fresh sheet. Both dinners were dry, overcooked disasters. It is improbable for a seafood-theme restaurant to destroy two pieces of very expensive fish! But it happened. I had cause in May to lament that the Port... More

Four of us visited The Boathouse on Father's Day and the night was full of errors: wrong dinners served on two separate occasions by a collection of different waiters. The restaurant, surprisingly, was not busy, but regardless, a series of errors made for an odd, extended evening. The staff were trying hard but something broke down repeatedly between our original... More

There where 2 of us ladies and we sat outside looking out over the Fraser River in New Westminster BC and enjoyed a very nice 1/2 bottle of white wine with a very nice cold Caesar Salad with a Seafood Chowder...the service was good and we took our time and did not feel like we had to eat and run... The setting was nice for a business meeting. The waiter was ok. My caesar salad was returned uneaten...rusted lettuce and lack of taste. My colleague ordered a caesar as well and it too was wilted and of poor quality. Very bland. The sesame crusted ahi tuna was tasty at first but a little too raw for my liking as you... More

We were a group of four (two couples) who hadn't seen each other socially for about six months. Lots of catching up to do! Our server was excellent in understanding that our priority was to sit and chat for awhile before ordering our food, and even then, we ordered in stages to extend our dining/visiting time. In total, we spent... More

My husband and I enjoyed coming here for special occasions given the great food and Quay boardwalk. Well the view is still great but unfortunately, the food is not. Our first clue should have been how few people there were...especially during a usual busy time. The food we ordered had too much gravy...almost to the point I had to scrape... More

I always get some oysters here. Can't get enough... Steaks are very nice as well, and the service and atmosphere are very nice. Decent wine list, too! Either in the lounge area or at a table, there's not much I could improve upon here.
