I've been to 2 Chefs for lunch 3 times now, have eaten something different each time and each time I've been delighted with the food. Everything is made from scratch, and the care taken in preparing the food shows. It is a very small restaurant and always busy. This time I had mushroom ravioli on a bed of amazing tomato... More

Great food. Fast service, considering everything is made from scratch and temperature always perfect. I did order the French toasts and the egg-bennie ( the vegetarian version with ratatouille of vegetables; not on the menu but always available when I went there) about 25 times each since I moved in town. The eggs are always cook soft when ordered soft,... More

Two weeks later, I remember how good the food and service was. The owner and staff are warm and welcoming. The food was a treat, and the price for breakfast and a fresh scone was cheaper than my usual bacon n'egg place in Duncan. Great flavours and happy staff.

Wasn't feeling too hungry, but was delighted to see the perfectly portioned scrambled eggs and tomato dish. Incredibly flavourful, finished every last bite. The jam, which if I remember correctly is homemade, was phenomenal!

An interesting, small menu. Inventive and different with all dishes hand prepared on the premises. I hope they get a license soon as their meals cry out for a glass or bottle of wine.

Yes we queued and I'd queue again. Great service and yummy food. I seriously struggled to know what to choose, such fresh local food served immediately and with great juice. A perfect start to a great day out in Naniamo

The reviews are mostly for breakfast so for lunch we 3 found the portions to be small and the braised beef was not detectable in taste in the sandwich, too little beef. The crab blt had way too much bread to filling proportions, again the main ingredient was not detectable. 3 way fish was good. I must say presentation was... More

This place is tiny and easy to overlook, but don't! The food is really fantastic. I had the crab BLT, which was so fresh and delicious! I was pleasantly surprised with the pickled ginger in the crab (not overpowering, a nice touch) and the pretzel bun. I believe the have improved on a classic BLT, which is a perfect sandwich... More

Great healthy and savory (Not so healthy) options. Eggs Benedict special and the Old Soul (quinoa) cereal were both excellent. And the hot chocolate was art and tasty.

in the heart of downtown, great service, great food. I had hot Quinoa cereal 0 it was fresh with cut up pears, honey and a few other goodies. My husband had eggs, toast, bacon that he said was one of the best brekkies he's had... it was the way they did them & how they were served. He also appreciated... More
