We have been to Simonholt many times and have never been disappointed. Always great service, and delicious food. Our table had the fish tacos and bandito bites today and both were made with very fresh ingredients...you can really tell they have an awesome scratch kitchen. Our server Lucas was great, very entertaining and humourous...made for a great visit.

We've had several meals at Simonholt and it is one of our local favorites. The service and atmosphere have always been excellent (ask for Lucas - he'll take good care of you). Breakfast, lunch or dinner, the food has never disappointed. Being a couple of blocks off the highway, we like to think of Simonholt as North Nanaimo's hidden jem.

Very entertaining and tastefully comedic. Luckas was always extremely attentive and not overbearing Unique approach to being available without hovering. He had excellent suggestions on menu items and friendly interesting conversation. What a great evening! and introduction to our friend from sunny south Surrey.

Had another great meal at this restaurant. I can't wait for the patio to open up. We'll be back! Thanks Lucas, our server, for making our dinner an even better experience.
