Our first visit to a wonderful restaurant. The food was reasonably priced, and the portions were massive. We had the cordon blue sub, torpedo sub, beef lentil soup & cream of tomato soup. AMAZING! The tomato soup was beyond words.... So, soooo GOOD!

We stopped in here for a beautifully made bowl of soup each and shared a cordon bleu sub. It was amazing. The soup was so hearty and flavourful. The staff were friendly and quick and the atmosphere was busy yet nice. Friendly patrons. All in all a very nice experience. We would definitely go back.

We went for a quick lunch in between shopping at the nearby thrift shops and book stores. Had the smoked beef on a kaiser and the chicken cordon bleu. The food portions were so hearty we took some home for a midnight snack. I dripped the juicy smoked beef down my shirt on the first bite (saucy and delicious), and... More

I had a yummy ham and cheese torpedo. Excellent. I think there may be other tasty items. But I was turned off by the obvious layers of dust everywhere and lack of cleaning. The decorative cedar shingles covered in dust and there just seemed like an old build up of grease and dust on everything. Would like to go back... More

Great spot for lunch. When we went it was lined up out the door but the line moved fast. Huge portion sizes had a hard time finishing our meals.

This place is always packed ... which is a testament to the incredible food you're about to eat. Huge subs, stacked sandwiches & chunky soups. Massive portions & great value. The only downside is that it's so busy here, at lunch time you'll line up for 15 minutes to get your food & struggle to find a spot to sit.

Never mind the line up, things happen quickly here. The food is wonderful. This is "The" place for lunch. Wonderful soup, great sandwiches, German food and Subs but not ordinary Subs. We always share as the meals are large.

The fast pace in this establishment will make you dizzy! There is always a line up at lunchtime BUT it goes FAST so don't worry. This was the last place I dined before giving up wheat. The hot chicken on a bun, always delicious, still remains in my memory. Take a friend and split lunch as IT'S BIG or...go when... More

It is nice to still be able to discover such places after a few years in Kelowna. Felt like home by the Rhein. Food is well prepared with large quantities of German dishes. Too bad they are not licensed, but a nice beer would go very well with the dishes. Don't be scare of the line up, it goes pretty... More
