The Minstrel Cafe is out of downtown on Lakeshore Road. Popular with locals it seemed. Excellent food, well presented, good variety of choices. Nice atmosphere, often entertainment on weekends. Good wait staff and service. Seafood, meat choices, pasta and some spicier options, enjoyed seafood fettuccine. Appetizers tasty as well. The$5 cover charge on entertainment if staying after 8 pm was... More

Very quick service and happened to come on a night when there was no entertainment surcharge! Really enjoyed the fresh fruit and cheese platter - full of flavour and very good size.

We went to the Minstrel Café in Kelowna, BC on Saturday, October 25th. We wanted to hear the Regals Band. They were very good. We had drinks and dinner. The server was attentive but he did not know the specials. He had them written down on a paper and read them off. He had about 4 or 5 tables. Our... More

Very nice and comfortable with good music. Appetizers were filling and comfortable. Loved this place. Will go again next time we are in town.

The owner of this place is very crooked and apparently has no concept of what reviews are doing to this place. The dining was horrible and the chef made excuses, laughed at us and charged us anyways for food that I wouldn't feed my dog. Beware!! The only place I've ever been where water and a lime or lemon wedge... More

We stopped by before a concert at cedar creek. What a great location. I had the baby back ribs. Yummy. The tree in the patio is enormous and must be hundreds of years old. Worth it to just check out. We were leaving and they had a band setting up for some live music. Too bad we couldn't stay.

A sad experience indeed for a place that used to be amazing. This time around was extremely disappointing. I see I'm not the only one to observe that it's heading downhill either. 1st of all I rarely send food back and can't actually remember the last time I did. My girlfriend and I ordered steak. Both of ours were difficult... More

What an enchanting spot. Only a 20 minute walk from our bed and breakfast we were able to enjoy a Saturday night out with a couple pitchers (yes pitchers) of amazing sangria. Make sure you check out their entertainment schedule and make reservations as this place fills up fast. There is a $5 entertainment charge per person that is tacked... More

We usually eat here a few times each summer. Quality of food and service gets worse each time. Good Value.. Not any more. Food tasted like it had been frozen and reheated. Only the chicken tacos tasted freshly made. Pasta and paella just like mush. Seafood rubbery. Coffee served cold. Service was slow and unorganized.

Lovely borscht and Wayne Gretzky Pinot Grigio yummy. Prices a bit high. Breaded oysters were interesting but over breaded. One of our party really did not like her minstrel burger and was told by waiter that because it was due to her personal preference, there was nothing he could do??? Party of 11 bachelorette lunch and there's nothing you can... More
