After playing nine holes of golf we wanted to enjoy a nice lunch and a beverage. We waited at a dirty table for 10 minutes in a less than half full pub and weren't even acknowledged by the staff. We approached the bar to get our own drinks and noticed right away that all the employees looked hungover. We didn't... More

After a family member calling ahead days before, and confirming the morning of, to request a table be set for 10 of us to bring our 94 year old grandma for lunch, we arrived to find nothing set up at all. We chose the locale because of the proximity to grandma's rest home and because we could sit outside undercover... More

There were 3 people in our group. We all ordered salads. About 30 minutes after ordering, the waitress came to our table to tell us that there was a mix up on the order when it was sent to the kitchen but she had put a "rush" on it. So about 20 minutes later, our food arrived. Food was okay... More

My friends and I, for the past few years, have been going to another golf course to play and have lunch / beers. This year we changed to Duffers, at Mission Springs, for our food / beer. We have NOT been impressed. Today there were a few people in there but only one waitress. We were as group of 8.... More

Haven't been there since they opened (which is a very long time ago). Was there on a rainy day so I didn't notice the patio. The place is a time capsule on the inside...very dark, dingy, outdated. About 5 customers in the place. Didn't risk it and went some where else.

Local Big Surf beer for 4.25 and a dozen wings for $3... and great tasting. Sure is nice compared to Mission Tap House and The Train Station. Also good ambience..like the traditional pub environment. Service was mediocre but you can always go to the bar and order. Ours was a social event and it was very comfortable. We'll be going... More

Duffers has got to be my least favourite pub around. The atmosphere is uneventful and boring, the service is just simply the worst and the food is bland and your order is most likely to be mixed up or cold. Will not be going back. For just a couple mins up the road you can find an amazing pub called... More
