The meal was excellent. We loved every bit of the food. However, apart from 4 of us having dinner at 7 pm there was no one else at the restaurant and this was a saturday night. Dining room is dark and dingy. You almost feel you are in a upscale cafeteria. Being the only ones there the food was obviously... More

We have been going to the Vintage Room for many years. When we want a special meal: birthday, anniversary, new Years, etc. we nearly always choose this "fine dining' restaurant.I don't think we have ever been disappointed. They have an excellent menu, generous servings and a great wine selection.Service is well above average.

The service this time around was outstanding. My friend and I both chose the Arctic Char, and we couldn't have picked a nicer meal. Presentation was great, food was very good, all in all had a very nice lunch. Would definitely go again.

Dinner for four to say thanks to my Assistant. Food wa fine and atmosphere was good but the service was inattentive and diappointing. Almost felt like we were putting him out by being there. Better luck next time but then I go there for the food which is always good. next time i won' t let poor service slide

We have eaten here several times and the food is always good, but... they advertised a "3 course meal for $35" on the bcfra web site. We went there tonight and were served "sampler" plates of everything. Three tiny scallops for the main course. A cream brule served in a thimble. Do not order off the wine and dine.

The food was excellent, the service a bit slow, the brunch very expensive. You have to be able to eat a lot in one sitting to make it worthwhile. Atmosphere great, but I wouldn't say "everything was perfect" as one reviewer stated.

The best food, the best service, the best atmosphere in the city. This was not our first time at this restaurant and it won't be our last visit. Everything was perfect. Their wine prices are pretty steep but even that fact does not deserve a complaint.

If you are looking for a nice meal this is a good place to visit. Food is good, reasonably priced and good service The atmosphere was good, quite and spacious. It was away from the action so you didn't have the opportunity to walk off the meal once you're done.
