Description: Smack DAB is a lively kitchen and bar located in the heart of Manteo Resort on the shores of Okanagan Lake. Open daily for buffet breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night snacks. Smack DAB is as perfect for a quick beer after work as it is for an amazing dinner on Kelowna’s largest lakeside patio. Smack DAB, offers premium casual dining. Sit in a booth and watch our Smack DAB chefs prepare your favorite item from our forno oven & open concept kitchen area. The room is designed to take full advantage of the incredible lake views from the restaurant and bar, private dining room, and outdoor patio. Large folding glass doors allow for an open-air environment in the summer months. We are equally serious about our suds as we are about our food. We offer Kelowna’s largest selection of craft beer.

My wife and i stopped at Smack Dab for drinks and an early dinner. Started with the meat, cheese bread board $18. This was good, a little pricey for what you get.I had the beef dip $16 and my wife had the Fish taconies $15. Neither came with any side, no salad, fries, soup for this price. Service was good and... We visited the Manteo Resort in Kelowna and found the their restaurant had changed in the last year to become the Smack DAB restaurant. (We are not from Kelowna, so did not know of this change.) The menu is posted outside, and looked fine. We were seated at a table with a superb view out over the lake. I chose... More

While staying at the Manteo Resort in Kelowna, B.C., we had dinner in their restaurant Smack Dab! Our table was by the window and afforded a lovely view of the lake. Service was friendly, nicely paced and efficient. I had the braised short rib with prawns, which was excellent. My husband had the chicken schnitzel and said it was also... More

there was no dislike at this great buffet style breakfast, good variety(great bacon), good selection of breads and fruits, and the price is also very good 8 dollars(eight) per personif you stay at the hotel.

The view from Smack Dab is beautiful, right on the lake. If it wasn't a chilly evening, you would have been able to see boats and kayaks right out front. We were visiting for a quick ladies' dinner, and I shared a caesar salad with a friend. I totally regret this....only because the salad was sooooooo good that I wanted... More

Stopped at smack dab for light lunch and were really please with the French onion soup. Best ever. We also shared calamari and a nice glass of red wine. The service we recd was great too. Knowledgeable and friendly. The view is outstanding of the okanagan lake and valley. Just a note though that it gets busy here when the... More

Very nice Tapas (small plate menu). I'm now a big fan of their Asian Mussels, which they serve with fresh baked bread. The beer and wine menu is extensive, and one of the best in the city. This has become a nice mid week restaurant to go to when it's not too busy, with great views of the lake. Parking... More

We were told the mussels were the house specialty...they were terrible. Gritty, huge and lacked flavour. The beer and wine flights are fun. Don't go if it's raining, the patio doors are closed and it's too loud to have a conversation with the person sitting next to you.

We had been to this restaurant shortly after it opened and to be honest we weren't that impressed with it. So glad we gave it another chance! We had the mussels as an appetizer and followed it up with a pizza. Absolutely delicious! We always try to give a restaurant 2 visits before we give it a thumbs up or... More

We visited the newly opened Smack Dab, which was formerly the Wild Apple Grill. If you liked it before you will not like it now. They have dumbed it down to a sports bar and it is noisy and the menu is lack lustre. One of our party is highly allergic to gluten and was asked if items could be... More
