Don't let the chinese tour buses in the parking lot fool you

This is one bad, unauthentic restaurant. Dim sum is not made in house, it is mass produced pre-manufactured stuff from a big supplier in Vancouver, you can buy the exact same items at the Oriental Superstore at the east end of Harvey Ave. Black bean and garlic ribs were outright rotten, tasted... read more

Wife and I stopped in for dinner last night........big mistake! We ordered the dinner for 2 and we barely touched any of it. The first bite of my egg roll told the tale of what was to come. It was all mushy inside with something I couldn't eat. I was looking for crispy noodles and veggies inside. The rest of... More

This restaurant has no idea what Chinese cuisine is all about. What is being served is NOT what it is meant to be. It is a misrepresentation of what oriental food really is.

We ordered egg fu yong, chicken and ginger in a hot pot and Chinese greens. All very good and authentic. We don't live in Kelowna but if we did we do definitely be back often. Authentic Chinese food and reasonably priced.

Upon several recent recommendations I tried the DK for the first time. Ordered dinner for two as no single plates and took home lots of extra. Subbed ginger beef instead of rice and had an extra order of salt n pepper shrimp. Everything was nicely prepared and tasted great. Next time I will order takeout. The owners were very friendly... I don't write reviews but had to write a review on this restaurant. We had a delicious dinner in the private room for a party of 8. We ordered salt n' pepper squid (mouth watering just typing that in), cashew chicken, broccoli n beef and ginger beef with the sauce on the side. Several glasses over the course of the... More

Probably the best Chinese restaurant in Kelowna. Extensive menu, authentic food, good service and decent prices. The place is filled with happy noise of diners enjoying good food and good company.
