Great Breakfast Spot

This small restaurant continues to be a family favorite for breakfast. The menu is simple and straight forward and the service is quick. We have also had midweek dinners here. The menu is basic and often there are dinner specials. The service is always friendly.

Went for breakfast with friends. First impressions - very friendly staff. Seated quite quickly. Not particularly fancy decor but great energy in the place while feeling free to linger if you want to. I ordered the banana cream cheese stuffed French toast with strawberry blueberry compote for $12.95. Definitely not diet fare but absolutely delicious - would definitely order again.... More

We stopped here on our last of 7 days before we left. Having not had a great meal at most of our prior stops we were totally blown away. Good portions, we had chicken burger, regular hamburger, soup, chicken fingers. All so simple but absolutely amazing!! We'll be back again!! Highly recommend, only drawback is the hours....

We have given this restaurant a few tries now, its close to us is the main reason. Each time the food was so so so bad. Burnt/cold/glass in eggs Benedict/terrible service and we were 1 of 3 tables in the place. Never again.

We used to frequent this restaurant more when it was Mug-A-Java, just down the street, things have changed since then, however I believe it is for the better. As before, they are only open for breakfast and lunch, which could change in the future, I honestly think they would do well to also open for dinner. The food is great,... More

I love this place! The Texan Benny is my absolute favorite! They have wonderful friendly staff and we never have to wait for a thing. I do recommend that you make a reservation before you go. This place is busy and its no wonder why. From the awesome service, the comfortability you feel, to the awesome fresh food, this is... More

Living in the area we have been to this establishment several times but I feel the need to comment today. We went after Remembrance Day service, place was swamped, however we were seated within minutes, 3 adults and 4 children. Waitress very accommodating, and was " Johnny on the spot ". We had an assortment of meals from children's breakfast... More

We ate breakfast here on a Thursday morning. The food was great and the waitress included extra sides for the bread that I could not eat. The hollindaise must have been prepared in-house (often I cannot eat it because it is a mix and not gluten-free). Service was excellent and it was obvious that the clientelle were well known to... We were here yesterday for breakfast and would never go back and here's why: When we walked in we waited 10 mins to be greated ( the hostess was MIA) when she finally arrived she was nice enough and we were told we would have a 10 min wait. She said we could have a seat on the benches by... More
